    To releive Karloff of severe frost bite one could provide him with a balaclava ! Makes life so much easier for us figure painters out there . Thumping up and down the Tundra anything beginning with V and odka together with a rolled Machorka cigarette will take B and K anywhere soon

    another unique subject as per,you make my german armour rut with dragon feel like lego.But i have a dragon panther almost built so you have my undivided.The snow buggy looks pukka,especially bieng in white,really gave the red some help...my grandad used to take me out in fork lightning and make me turn over coins in my hand,it was for luck he said.......

      ...did you get struck?

    • @darronhedges5873
      @darronhedges5873 6 років тому

      well it always struck me as odd as he used to stand behind corner of wall.anyway it didnt hurt that much and my curly hair dissapeared.Then he accidently shut my neck in car boot,but we used to get on like a house on fire.That reminds me of the weekend he stayed for christmas.....

    I remember this vehicle as a resin kit from the early 1990s. I don't know if you heard about the company: KIRIN. They were part of Dragon DML. That was the only kit available before Trumpeter did it and it's much better than the KIRIN kit. Very nice result on this fantastic baby and the two de-bummed Russians! Should build one myself. :)

    • @HarryHoudiniModels
      @HarryHoudiniModels  6 років тому +1

      Did not know about Kirin.. there are a few Aerosani kits now available including a large scale 1:16th one I think.

    • @non-prolific135thscalemode7
      @non-prolific135thscalemode7 6 років тому +1

      I guess Kirin weren't too successful, because the castings weren't really good. Warped parts, loads of inclusions, broken parts - you name it. A 1/16th kit??? Hmmm! Hmmmmmm! That sounds very interesting! Thanks for the heads up!

    • @HarryHoudiniModels
      @HarryHoudiniModels  6 років тому +1

      Yes it's a Cyber Hobby kit.

      Oh, that's 1/6th scale! The problem is that there are no figures at that scale. Well, at least none from styrene or resin. I guess I'd rather go for my usual scale then. :)

    I had no idea, when I gave you that kit, that you would do so much with it! I'm really happy that you are enjoying it so much ! I can't wait to see more ...... I want to see how you do the snowy base. I'm thinking about doing my Puppchen and gunner. It needs a snow base. So does the little OZ.B 40, squeeze bore. Both kits come with guys in winter gear. You've really done a fine job on this, Harry.

    • @HarryHoudiniModels
      @HarryHoudiniModels  6 років тому +1

      Thanks Ennis... I will do some more research before I do a base.. might get some snow skiers and add another aerosani too.

      @@HarryHoudiniModels Looked up the meaning of this word in Google , and found out that this was an early feudal Estonian prince, I don’t understand one thing why the Soviet Union needed to honor the Estonian princes and call them the names of military vehicles.
