Well...this story made me shiver for three reasons. One, it reminded me of my own experience of being left out in the middle of a dark highway. Second, I was driving back home while listening to a scary roadside story. And third...I had an eerie similarly-themed dream I had just a month ago. The dream started with me walking at night time on a road that cut through a forest. I reached the edge of civilization and asked the first person I met about where I was. He...she...it didn't answer and after some awkward moment I just left. I met another person at a crossroad but I didn't bother interacting with it. I walked deeper into the town and noticed some "human" activities in the houses. I peeked through the windows but they were just brightly-lit empty rooms. My peeking activity inadvertently brought me down to a beach. I stood at the edge of water wracking my brain to understand what was happening. I finally remembered: I was driving home and ran into another car head on. After piecing the pieces together I screamed with the realization that I had died. Then, I woke up in the real world just seconds before my alarm went off at 5:30 a.m.
A good go on the accent, good story too. If you think this is scary, read one of Tom Slemens Haunted Liverpool books, people send him stories SWEARING the strangest things happened to them! That city is seriously weird. I believe most of it too. Home sweet Home.
Ahh you beat me to it!!! I used to love those tom slemen stories when I was little.. at our family gatherings I’d always bring them with me and read out my favourite stories to the adults. Probably scared the sht out of some younger ones too at some point 🤣🤣
@@clorby22 Ha ha, takes on to know one doesnt it? I take the books to appointments and creep out people in the waiting rooms! Damn good reads, and theres so many! I'm up to no 30. Have a great new year. ☺
Admittedly I don't know what kinda nasties live in the Liverpool area, and i don't want to be spoiling tge story, but i do want to know what that thing is supposed to be.
@NaturesTemper oh! I didn't think of those lil buggers. Am I wrong in thinking that those guys are smaller and normally only go after children? BTW fine sir, I love ur narrations. I'm so glad I found ur channel and have been subbed for several years now.

None of the monsters in Liverpool can outdo the strongest monsters in the UK. The British.
