Negatives brought out were..
1. Eng check light not going off after starting up, esp during first
start of the day
2. Heating being pronounced, more than Dominar
3. Mudguards are poor by design, both front and back. Spray from
front on a wet road almost comes to your chest and face
4.vibrations beyond speeds of 120..Doesn't reassure you at speeds
beyond 120
5. Cramped seating..lf you are planning to go touring, rear
luggage rack is a must, even for solo rides, since luggage on the
pillion seat compromises riders sense of space n comfort
I bought this bike on 10th august. Till date i have completed 1800kms which includes highway and city driving, In this i faced few issues that i have discussed in this video. we have more positives also but if i discuss this video is more lengthy so i have only discussed what issues i faced till date. But trust me this is the best bike i have ever driven in this segment at present i have classic 350 2017, Thunderbird 500 2017, Dominar 400 2018 after all this i really love triumph speed 400. @@strictlybiker Brother, even I have confusion on whether buying Hunter 350 or Speed 400, I felt compromised with price but then performance was very good in speed 400 (During test drive). I am 350 Km away from the Triumph showroom, what is your call on me buying speed 400, is that worth facing the problem you mentioned, coz some problems are similar in Hunter 350 also and other important thing is this gonna be my first bike. Nice feedback about the Triumph Speed 400👌
As it is a bike made by Bajaj and many components sourced like wiring, fuel system are from budget companies. So there is a chance you may face electrical issues. Even I faced start-up issues with my Dominar.
Engine check light usually turns on when water enters during washing. This also happens with my CB 350RS after washing.
Genuine feedback.
Liquid cooled bikes are risky sometimes due to their intricate nature of cooling system. Even a rat bite can damage the liquid cooling wiring.
That's why I bought a Honda CB350RS (Air-cooled)

coating on bendpipe is going off,mud guards arent providing any purpose,engine check light issue,un stability after 130 and vibrations after 7k rpm,mirrors and worst placement of cooling liquid tank which might easily break without bash plate,heating more than dominar 400 in traffic,apart from this bike is very wfm and he would still pick it with his eyes closed at its price.

Bro mileage miru real-time test chesara? Like 2liter petrol 60kms or indicator lo chusi cheppara.because naku indicator fuel economy reading I can’t trust.

I had the same issue in my 390 when I put petrol from a bad place. They'll need to drain tank and force clean lot of parts to remove all particulates.
i dont think so bro , now everything is good with that engine light, some issue with some bikes.

Bro small change in ur review at 7:00 mins, dash plate and coolent oil, there is iron guard is there for coolent oil. If u check in dash top na one iron gurad is there.

The brake sound is due to sintered break pads. Its common with these break pads.

Nenu book chesa Speed 400 and I will receive my delivery very soon and last statement was I will definitely agree with you this bike is worth for that price and major gaa vibrations chaala thakkuva unless cross 120 kmph and low end torque e bike produce chesinatu aa bike produce cheyyadhu.. coming to other issue e bike loo fuel indication is not correct ani vinanu did you felt same ??

Bro it’s 400cc engine. It is not within 150 cc to have heat less ride. The bike is a roadster not a cruiser for long rides with luggage. Also this is 1st batch, it will have issues. Electrical issues can be fixed, and your issues can also be fixed when you raise it triumph.
i know that brother, even i bought dominar 400 in 2017 it is also a 1st batch, i know we can face issues and all they will fix in times, but withoit knowing everyone talking about pros i have seen so many video they just took 3 to 5kms test drive and mentioning it is superb bla bla bla.............., So i am talking truth it has issues and will be fixed see video i have mentioned that as well.

If the user will know pros and cons then that user will definitely choose which bike to buy, y because every bike has pros nd cons.

Does the dealership provide the bike with the number plate, was there any additional charge for getting the number or is it included in the bike total price
they wont provide with number plate, u have to connect with RTA agent to get ur bike registration done.
@@strictlybiker Registration is included in the total bike cost right. Do you have pay additional 3500 to get the number plate.
in my case i need specific num so i went for bid nd got my number. i think u have to pay 1000 to agent i het to get registeration done with any random number.

I’m planning to buy new bike. I’m more into retro style bikes. My choice is between hunter 350 and speed 400. What is your choice hunter 350 or spent little more and by speed 400?

it is too early to decide service and maintenance we have to wait another few months so that we get an idea, in my point what os ur need of motorcycle then decide which u have to choose.
What about the 16K KM service interval. Is that only a claim from company. Or actually its?
Bro dnt see all those numbers if u rode 16k or not is a matter u have to give service for every year.
Triumph suggests castrol but no one sure which castrol 10w40 or 10w50 for speed 400. For break squeaks i think we have to try high temperature grease, some grease will be there on the backside of pad and it is washed away by water, then it starts rusting & squeaking. My bike started squeaking few days after mudslush followed by waterwash. Those lines on the disk are due to disk pads, i think we have to request triumph for brembo diskpads during service

Nen Bike tiskuni 10 days ayyindi so far no issues, Present no accessories available anywhere in hyderabad -- MOTO hawk lo tisko accessories chala better pricing -- bash/sump guard & Secure Lein Side Stand Base tiskunna yet to deliver and Bike stopage issue resolved in latest software patch and engine check light issue also resolved confirmed from Kukatpally service center person..

I Tried to follow your video bro, can't understand fully, Still amazing stuff. I have been owning this bike for 3 weeks now (almost), I hear rattle noise in front right engine side. It comes during idle revs, but when you start moving it goes off. I checked for fitment of these guards, sump guard everything. Everything is sturdy, did you face any issue

When I did test drive I felt the brakes were a little lacking
tall riders better go with scram 400, yes it feels too small for 6feet people.

@@strictlybikeryes but both r different category duke more sporty and have stiff suspension setup it will provide more high speed stability. Speed 400 have softer setup so not gud for 140+ speeds
