hodan ibrahim I don’t think everyone can achieve this even with the right amount of determination. She’s obviously just really smart considering the fact she got a 1500 on the psat without doing anything prior. Sadly you can’t just go from a 900 or a 1000 to a 1500 or 1600, even if you study a lot and have determination. Everyone’s level of intellect is just different. But good luck as well!
@@Whatever-hy3dd Okay but, she's been putting in effort since day one? If someone who has a lower level of intellect just put in more time and effort then they would get similar results no doubt?
hodan ibrahim ok I’m not totally sure what u mean by day one but if she’s been putting effort in since day one, how are kids supposed to put in all that time and effort she has put in for a few years (probably since junior high) in the course of just one? Not all kids have the luxury to go to a school as good as her or have parents that value her education. Why do you think there’s such a big discrepancy with sat scores of different races? I’m not trying to be rude but your way of thinking is toxic because you think everyone has access to the same resources as her. Obviously kids who grew up in the ghetto and went to shitty schools with shitty teachers aren’t going to do as well as her because they fell wayyy behind in English and math and are far off from being even close to her level. And either way she only improved by 80 points?? And she was sooo smart on her psat anyways. I love her but tbh she is the worst possible example to use that ((for the sat)) studying and having the right amount of determination will magically help u go from a 900 to a 1580.
hodan ibrahim You guys don’t have any standardized tests that colleges look at😭? Guess I’m moving😂. Anyways thanks for being so understanding haha sorry if I came off a little rude.
I absolutely bombed my PSAT (1140 total, only 510 on math...), and I'm trying to get into an early college program, so I'm preparing like crazy for my SAT on March 12. I think my main problem was that I go to a school that doesn't offer honors or AP classes because it's an "advanced classical school", so when I took the PSAT early this year, my sophomore year, I had only had a couple months of Algebra 2, and no Pre-Cal. Thanks so much for the Khan Academy recommendation!
I am happy for myself and for you cause you did algebra 2 in freshman and I'm lucky that my school gave me a test to see if I can skip a grade in math and am doing algebra 2 in 8th grade. So happy for you and know I see that I have a good chance if I work hard to try to get a good SAT. Atleast in Math, I am trash in English! As well as 4 million points in Khan so I think I'm good.
Congrats Jasmine 👏👏 Thanks to you I received a 1230 on my SAT despite only being in 7th grade! Good luck to everyone taking the test or getting their scores back.
I really wish I knew about SAT prep online because my SAT prep teacher just assigned questions and we needed help answering them lol. I got 930 on my SAT but somehow got into UVA... I’m not complaining but just a reminder that it’s not all about test scores for those of you who are stressed.
I really want to get a score like that when I take the SAT! I’m pretty much a year behind you and we’re taken all the same course. Though I got a 1260 with preparation... but I’ll definitely take it a little later so I can practice a bunch
I'm not in highschool yet, but I'm gonna study really hard for the next year and hopefully every year after that, you are really an inspiration to me and I hope that maybe I can ace my SAT when I'm older.

ik it’s summer, but when you get back to school or if you’re doing any type of studying over the summer, could you do a live study with me video? Those vids really help me when I’m trying to study or just be motivated to read :)
Me: *hoped I was smart*
Jasmine: *yOu THouGhT*
I still love you though! ❤️
Thank you so much love!! I really needed this as I finished my freshman year in highschool and am nervous for taking the psat and sat. I will be sure to practice and use my free time wisely with Khans Academy! ❤️
I literally got a 1030, hoping to get a 1400 upward next time.
how’d it gooo ?!
That's one giant leap
Yesterday I literally looked through your videos for an SAT one and today this happens lmao
Well done!! Anyone could achieve this with the right amount of determination. Good luck everyone.
hodan ibrahim I don’t think everyone can achieve this even with the right amount of determination.
@@Whatever-hy3dd Welp, I'm Canadian so we don't have SATs but I mean you're totally right and I see where you're coming from.
hodan ibrahim You guys don’t have any standardized tests that colleges look at😭? Guess I’m moving😂. Anyways thanks for being so understanding haha sorry if I came off a little rude.
Well I’m going in junior year soon so this is so helpful!
"get a tutor for those math skills" me, with a crippling fear of asking for help: haha that's funny
If you are good at science, I would recommend taking the ACT instead since that portion can boost your score.
Outclassed am I....and I thought my 1320 PSAT score was great.
Good job. I am genuinely happy for you.
needed this even though i’m a freshman !! haha :)
Shirley Bassil girl you’ll be taking that PSAT soon and then life gets real, never too early!
Shirley Bassil Same lol.
Giuliana Mesa i almost forgot about that! :0
Well it’s been a year! How are you doing :)
Damn girl! Well done!!! That's incredible!
You should post a xc summer training vid!
my mom would be so embarrassed of me if she ever watched this video 😔
I am happy for myself and for you cause you did algebra 2 in freshman and I'm lucky that my school gave me a test to see if I can skip a grade in math and am doing algebra 2 in 8th grade. So happy for you and know I see that I have a good chance if I work hard to try to get a good SAT. Atleast in Math, I am trash in English! As well as 4 million points in Khan so I think I'm good.
I really hope your get into an amazing school like Harvard or Yale. You work so hard and totally deserve it! :)
She’s going to UCLA
@@aanya3248 With a 1580 SAT score??
@@turtlefeesh yeah lol, I think she didn't get into Harvard. she did a video about it.
i never had to take an SAT or ACT due to my college choice , but this motivates me to ace all my tests
I saw the thumbnail and was like you got a WHAT
1500+ whew I could never
Congrats Jasmine 👏👏 Thanks to you I received a 1230 on my SAT despite only being in 7th grade! Good luck to everyone taking the test or getting their scores back.

But... is no one talking about the fact that she didn’t get a 1500... she got a 1580!!! Thats 20 points off from perfection! Great job.
I really wish I knew about SAT prep online because my SAT prep teacher just assigned questions and we needed help answering them lol. I got 930 on my SAT but somehow got into UVA... I’m not complaining but just a reminder that it’s not all about test scores for those of you who are stressed.
Girl you are incredible, I-
Ahhhh I'm so happy for you! Your score is so good. LOL I barely managed to get a 1420 😂 but I can't wait to see some college vids 💖 ily
Sis really snapped
Daaang, I shouldn't feel like a failure, but I do now
thanks queen, I needed this 😩
Good luck and advance congrats for sure you will pass😊
Hello! I love your channel sm, your grades are great!
damn girl congrats on ur awesome score
Congratulations on your achievement
I really want to get a score like that when I take the SAT! I’m pretty much a year behind you and we’re taken all the same course. Though I got a 1260 with preparation... but I’ll definitely take it a little later so I can practice a bunch
No surprise!!!! Congratulations lady!!
I'm not in highschool yet, but I'm gonna study really hard for the next year and hopefully every year after that, you are really an inspiration to me and I hope that maybe I can ace my SAT when I'm older.
congratulations ♡
You are a studying QUEEEEEEEN ! Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊 I wish my sat score was that high! P.S I haven’t taken it yet, thanks for the tips
Good job keep up the good work.I got a 1,450
