Since college doesn't work like that where I live, to me is so interesting how you seem to have a culture of "you can change your mind, don't stress yourself too much about your major". Here when we enter school is direct to our major and usually change it is super expensive, I wish we had those kinds of thoughts so people around my age (16) wouldn't have to stay up all night thinking what are we gonna do with our lives
I'm from the Philippines and employers don't trust our curriculum for grade 11-12 and like the only way to get jobs for teebs is from job programs here other than that its just too hard to find a job here without a college degree. I'm going to apply to college so I'll save grace and I'm going to try to get a useful degree so that abroad my degree and my college experience is considered worthy. The only jobs you can get are those freelance jobs such as businessperson, online seller and stuff. Getting work experience feels almost impossible unless ypu can find a school that could provide a job program. Most Internships here require college.
I signed up for those college emails in my freshman year, and now even though I'm a senior I'm STILL trying to get rid of them. I unsubscribe from every single college that has sent me something... and they're STILL coming.

So i've kind of just been walking through my high school career aimlessly, which means I have done nothing I didn't have to do. No clubs, community service, etc. I am about to start my senior year after these last two years being online school and i don't know where to start or what I am doing. Anyone have any advice?
I recommend doing anything you can during this summer! There are online volunteering opportunities, locally (depending where you live)! Try to make up for what you haven't done this summer
Honestly, you are between a rock and a rock. There's not much you can do. Every other person applying to prestigious universities has a set of extracurriculars that they've been involved in for a long time. Focus on less prestigious schools, or don't focus on schools at all. It sounds like you don't enjoy school that much to begin with
@rosie Fr lol they started it well but ended it so horribly. Yes there’s gonna be competition but that does not mean that they don’t care about school because they weren’t in clubs lol😕some people do not even have time out of school for stuff like that
@@coolfool183 I've been online these past two years because I've spent the majority of it in the hospital due to medical issues. I dont expect to get into anything prestigious. I just want to make the most of my next year and prepare myself for college, even if its community college
