- It was an indescribable feeling for me to be in the same room where Freddie recorded his last songs..it's absolutely awesome!!
and please forgive me my unprofessionell sound mixing ^^
..was my first time on a mixing desk ;)
"mama, please, let me back inside" is so raw and untampered with, almost as if he sung it directly in to your ears
It made me brought a tear to my eye by hearing Mother Love and imaging Freddie sitting there recording the last vocals
I miss Freddie so very much.....his class, his voice, his stage presence....just everything. I'll see you as we both float about the Universe......
Extraordinary Studio Experience Montreux. It seems, that Freddie's spirit is still there and his voice sounds so deeply.
I realize of his great uniqueness. I miss him.
So sad." Mother Love" was his swansong,he was dying man, sufering from this terrible disease but his voice was still so strong and beautiful. He is a real legend and true legends never die! TY 4 this precious footage.Greetings from Germany!
I miss Freddie terribly...I cannot listen to Mother Love w/o weeping...yes weeping....It is absolutely heart wrenching and spine chilling ..Fly High...Please, Hurry Back,Freddie ...💋❣😎
Brian and Roger are so hilarious I can't even deal with them, the drums thing cracked me up!
+Rebecca McInerney I adore their friendly competitive digs at eachother. Their comments about eachother doing drum or guitar solos during gigs are always so funny to hear.
Rebecca McInerney yep..exactly
Rebecca McInerney its so funny how their suggestions are so contrasting, like brian saying “too much drums can ruin anything” 😂
i know im asking randomly but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account??
I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Felix Deshawn instablaster ;)
i’m visiting this place in January for my birthday, i’m so excited!!
This is a magical place, a mystical place, filled with a superb spirit.
I have to go there someday.

...Btw Im english but we almost moved Down Under when i was a kid, as my mother worked with NAB back then. Whats it like?
This has to be one of the most emotional touching Queen videos ...a GEM full of such emotion ...please let me back inside...
A kind of Magical experience..i would love to get my hands on that mixing desk and be in the room where Freddie recorded his last song....Amazing video
Write in english/ spanish .
Mother Love is right up there with Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody To Love and We Are The Champions. Simply breathtaking.
no word.....LISTEN!
THANK YOU for filming and uploading this. It's great that someone in Montreux realised how smart it would be to open a Queen Museum. I mean, this is going to be Switzerland's Graceland - if it's not just a temporary thing.
Lucky you for getting there!
the magic still is in the air....lucky guy.
Along with Freddie's proud spirit :)
this is amazing I sure will love to be there one day
miss u Freddie!!!
That is SO AWESOME that The Group Queen, with give US, the AVERAGE JOE a chance to "Mix" they're last two songs in the VERY STUDIO where they recorded those last two songs!! that is TOTALLY AWESOME. I LOVE Music and wish I had a chance go there and do that. I've always like the Group Queen, too. ;)
Incredible. Hope I make it there one day. Freddie, so missed. Very much loved.
Amazing, thanks for posting. I can’t even imagine what it must have been like for the 3 of them to do Made in Heaven, but thank god the did. 💔💔💔💔
Roba da veri appassionati..solo noi possiamo capire...GRAZIE...
Freddie's isolated vocals are absolutely incredible sounding! They don't sound as if they are being reproduced, but produced!
They're made in heaven
@@MeidoInHebun 🙏 Amen
The opening song Bijou is by far, IMHO, is the very best vocals Freddie ever did. Crystal clear, voice sang with conviction from the soul. This sends chills. Yes other songs define and are powerful but this one is so timeless and we all can relate. What a piece of majic he was.
Arlitta Rodriguez I agree. His voice and those beautiful words and chords destroy me.
It was his last song, R.I.P. Freddie, his amazing voice it will be here forever ♥
I came yesterday from Montreux and it was outstanding...
Oh Freddie solo la tua meravigliosa voce riesce a regalarmi forti emozioni 😙❤💝
Am out of words to describe how versatile Freedie's voice is. He's dying but he still managed to do recording at its best. I feel crying:-(
OH MAN SO F-ING AWESOME!
Looks like a wonderful experience for all Queen lovers

Mesmo doente, sua dicção perfeita. Rei mesmo. O maior de todos. Pode ter inveja...AMO FREDIEE MERCURY. Deus o guarde onde estiver que esteja BEM. FREDIEE para Sempre. QUEEN A MELHOR BANDA DO MUNDO.

This was perfect. Thank you for this 🥺❤️
You have made your own history !!! This was a once in a lifetime experience !!!
Definitely will be heading to sit in this very room that legends worked to create their masterpieces.
Freddie, we still miss You darling...
the band member of queen is really humble.. its really sad actually seeing them growing old :(
Larga vida a QUEEN.
¿como cuanto te costó ir ahí, compañero?
Cuánto? Dinero o tiempo
Thanks for sharing.
WOW, just WOW!!!

@@Ballan30 Ohhhh. Please pray for me while you are there that I go there as well soooooon
Id go in there and record each multitrack onto a recorder.
Marco m’y dear thank you 😊
Where’s the large tracking room? If you open the Jazz album the open fold has a large Black and White photo of them at this studio.
Does anyone know where the large room is located?
I want to go there so bad.
Epic
Wish someone would steal the stems from that place, sneak a lil USB in there and bam
Che bello il tuo cognome
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋
I am wondering how old the mixing desk is. The studio itself was state-of-the-art when it was built (in the late 70s?)
I wish it was in London or in garden lodge Freddies house so I can see it :-(
💜⚡🇬🇧❤️
so awesome, can you record a mix you make? I wager no,it'd be cool though
Having worked on these I am like okay how are they making the faders work but none of the meters except for the on screen ones which I am guessing are supposed to be the 24 track.. tape was a little before my time. That said Mother Love was one of their most powerful songs. You can feel Freddy's pain his mortality put in this song and Brian? I think doing the final verse after Freddy was gone you could tell his heart was broken. You feel it.
Marco m’y friends 😊❤
11:03 unbelievable ridiculous vocals
not sure if you mean that in a good way or bad, lol
Mother love multitrack. Anyone have it ?
I don't believe Brian. The lyrics until the final verse, Freddie talk to Mary Austin. And, I've read the job of the writer of Queen songs making the particular album are responsible for working with the producer to bring the track to conclusion, effects, etc.. I want to believe Freddie finished his lyrics - planned to return to pull it all together. That last verse is talking physical pain inconsistent with Freddie's lyrics. I do hear Brian's heartfelt misery which seems self-serving. Of course I may be totally wrong. Actually knowing Freddie would tell me "it really doesn't matter" ... I finally stop the tears.
Donde queda?
Montreux en Suisse :)
Hace 6 años los comentarios? WOW
@@alexiscenturion3374 me gusta Queen desde que tengo 12 años y ya voy a cumplir 26
Mother love is an excellent song with a horrible ending. Very bad idea.
AR MONUMENTAL he didnt had a chance to finish it he said he'll come back and finish it of but he never came back and then he died so brian decided to finish it
tim kalič I mean the horrible ending of the song, with that kind of mashup of sounds. Ruin the song.
What a lack of insight. The mash up is his life, all he went through with Queen ffs
Freddie'sMyMoto (???????????)
AR MONUMENTAL At the end of the song it features a sample from a live sing along session recorded at Queen's famous 1986 concert at Wembley Stadium, and a sample from the intro of the studio version of "One Vision" and "Tie Your Mother Down".
Also, close to the end of the track features a few seconds of every Queen song ever recorded, put together and then rapidly sped through a tape machine.
It also features a sample from a cover of "Goin' Back", a song written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin, for which Mercury had provided lead vocals in 1972. The cover was released as a b-side to "I Can Hear Music", a Ronettes cover, by Larry Lurex, not long before the release of Queen's debut album. At the end there is a baby heard crying. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Love_(Queen_song)
