john garry I know me Queen history matey !....I bought the Cross album "Shove It"in the late 1980's .....and Freddie sings backing vocals on "Heaven for Everyone"...Track 5....on that album... for which he was uncredited at the time .....apart from in the thank you that says " Thank you BRIAN.FREDDIE and JOHN for your support.......and I do remember it well !!
@@ATOMIKDOG23 well in the uk version Freddie sings lead on album with roger on backing vocals. Obviously the single had roger singing lead the same as your version in the us
Wish I coulda seen this, but I wouldnt be into Queen/the cross till 2 years after this gig. Roger is in good voice here and they've all still got it. I hope they reunite again in my lifetime.... 2023 maybe :D But until then I'm watching this hopefully :D
I love this band so much! And Roger Taylor what a brilliant singer and songwriter and performer! Love him so much! I always loved Heaven for Everyone! ❤️❤️❤️
Merci à vous monsieur Taylor pour tout c'est moment de travail musicaux et chant magnifique et bonne continuation à vous le groupe Queen malheureusement s'en freddy merci à vous
wonderful! thanks for the upload. Must have been a weird experience for Roger singing all these songs years later. He looked like he forgot a few bits here and there! Great upload-
Loved this band never got to see them way back and of course when Freddie died it was the end of this superb band, great to see them together one more time tho, wish id have been there btw spike stop singing lol !!
Freddie dieing had nothing to do with band breaking up as far as i know think it was just that they had run their natural course & assume roger wanted to return to purely solo work with happiness album.
Check out Clayton moss instagram ‘claytonjlmoss’. On instagram. He plays some cross shuffle and his own 1 min guitar riffs. Very cool. Plus some cross images
Great video - thanks for sharing. What were they thinking letting Spike sing Dirty Mind? Surely as a musical director he should have a better idea of what sounds good and what sounds... like that!
I was there! Yeah it was wierd and scary, roger didnt seem to be with it, had to read all the lyrics from sheets and left the band to sing 3 songs while he went off stage, he even forgot to sing power to love and came back to sing it in the second half. An experience was had. but feel that rogers days singing have sadly gone.
Fantastic that you got to experience this one off show. By the looks of the videos, you're right. He just didn't seem at ease or to be having much fun. Maybe it was just a weird experience for him singing and performing these songs years later. That said, his voice still holds up, but maybe his touring days are behind him now.
Marc Vacher I was there too. Fantastic gig.. but RMT clearly hadnt done much rehearsing, if any. He spent lots of the time looking to Spike on his right for cues and reminders as was completely lost... his voice was very good though. Compare it to someone like Meatloaf singing live these days, at a similar age. They werent on till past 10pm either - 3hrs into the gig and I reckon the party backstage was in full flow by then!
Yeah chris maybe that was the deal! I heard roger rehearse earlier in day and sounded good. his voice was good on night Jim was with me and he and i loves Sister blue!! roger rocked on this one. He went off for 3 songs and left band singing! so clearly its his age he cant keep up with it! Shame, yeah marc wouldnt have missed this concert its a one off and glad i was there. I was with many Special queen fans in pub before gig even jacky and jim.
he came back from the opening of the queen exhibit in Montreux the day before . They only did a sound check together and did songs that were not played for 20 fucking years. I was there, he sounded incredible, missed maybe 3 or 4 words (not even lines) and was great for the fans.
Check out the foods. Alkali and acid. Do not mix together. Alkali? Eggs, scramble or boiled. Whatever. Alkali..meats. Beef, pork, lamb, everything. Per day, 5 x, but do not mix.
Roger Taylor the great voice and talent
I enjoy really much The Cross
Great to see Roger singing with the Cross after so many years....his voice hasn't changed a bit....True musical legend
6:01 man on fire i love this song
Great to hear Roger sing their version of Heaven for Everyone.....

最後トナカイのままでいて欲しかったけどさ、照れるんだな😏 ロジャーらしい…💛
Where is the Cyber Barn ?
Roger's backyard.
Have u got the whole gig?
I was there! Better than queen+ concerts
Yes its hard.
shame Roger was reading the lyrics all the time ..
And that is why the Cross should get together more often.
