My favorite part was when you stomped the old fuse - totally going to follow that step.
🤟 thanks for watching!
Thank you for posting your video, saved me over 100$ for a service call.
Be well all
best troubleshooting video I've ever seen..
I did laugh out loud when you stomped on the fuse
😀
I replaced the safety fuse and cleaned out the vent real good. Again, no start. One of the plugs going to door switch had wiggled loose. That was it, but glad I cleaned the vent. A lot more lint than you see on the screen.
I have the exact same dryer, 20 years old but been replacing elements along with the fuse and thermos everytime. This time I also replaced the timer, and now the thermostat in the element itself sparks. Brand new element and i dont know what I'm doing wrong. Any advice?
That's my problem then. Thank you so much!!!!!
Thanks if it continues to blow you may to clean the j yet so and external vents!
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro Ok thanks, dryer is now working.
Great help, fixed mine. Much appreciated
Check for shortage heater element causing the safety fuse to blow out.
I have a Kenmore dryer. The on switch does not turn dryer on or off. To turn dryer off, I have to open the door, but when I close the door, the dryer starts up. Is this most likely due to a bad on-switch? Thanks.
Possibly
Right to the point.
Many thanks.
I have changed that fuse 3 times it will start for 2 loads and then blows.Any suggestions?
Blow out the dryer vent. I should’ve put that in this video sorry
Right on🤝
Thank you
😀😀
How long does a thermal fuse supposed to last? Because mine keeps blowing
If it keeps blowing you may have a clogged vent
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro hey I’m sorry I found the issue was the black wire was brittle and broke off between the dryer and screw in
Awesome
i replaced the starter switch and the thermal fuse and it still wont start. Timer next??
Trace out the power from the terminal until power is lost. More common areas would be the door switch
Need to know how to remover to check start button has no knobs whilpool cabrio
I replaced the heating element, all sensors, and now it won't turn on. The light comes one but won't turn
I'm trying to get the dryer to work but it still won't work
The door stayed open what?? 😅😅😅
there is a cause for fuse to blow- gotta find it
While this statement should be true…this dryer is still running fine 1.5 years later. These fuses definitely fail for no reason, especially being 20 years old
