Trailers are made prior to the music being composed for the film so they usually just use library music or music from other movies. Since Raiders is the first in its franchise in this trailer exercise, it stands to reason that John Williams score isn’t ready yet, so they would have used library music.
I’m extremely critical of fan trailers I see online, so I mean it when I say *this trailer was absolutely perfect.* It doesn’t give too much away, shows snippets of the action sequences, lays out the story and the goals of the characters…you’ve earned yourself a subscriber.
Wow shame on the critics. This trailer is awesome. If Raiders of the lost ark ever gets put on Disney+ this should be their trailer! The music definitely matches the epic ness of this movie! Definitely needs more views! Indiana Jones 4 LIFE!
Gave me goosebumps, man. The cheering Egyptians as Indy rides off after the ark. By that time you've really established character and the stakes. The original trailer didn't really give a sense of Indy's character. You did in the first 20 seconds. Since trailers are really a visual representation of the logline, this cut wins big, IMHO. Bravo!
All that’s missing. Is the true soul of Indiana Jones. JOHN WILLIAMS’s musical score. The editing, pace, timing, and music is fantastic, but would be 1000 times better if it culminated in the original John Williams Raiders theme. Without it, it’s an apostasy.
Hey man fantastic trailer. I know it’s been a while but can you please take a request? I’ve been dying for someone to make a Last Samurai modern trailer. The trailer for it kinda sucks. And when I tell people about it (it’s my favorite movie) they always wanna watch the trailer but it’s buns. Can you help me out? Thanks!
@@stebo11 true! There's a lot of that going on these days, but have you ever really seen the actual theatrical trailers released for Jaws, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind?! Those original trailers found in the special features on the DVDs, tell the audience everything that happens in the movie including How It Ends! If I had been old enough to remember those trailers back then I would have been livid about it! Ridiculous!!
@Finnien MacCool First, didn't mean to be a prick here. "epic", like the the music choice here falls into, specifically implicates grand scale action and a massive in-story audience (war, alien invasion, a galaxy under threat). But the story\imagery of Indiana Jones movies are more secret-mission, exotic-adventure style.. It's much smaller and digs a different group of audience. The kind that's more into "you didn't know but he saved your asses in 1930s" style. I really enjoyed the first minute of this trailer and liked the rest less. The hook should be Indiana approaching the conspiracy instead of elevation of conflict.
Amazing to think that this is 40 years old. When I saw this movie in 1981, WW2 wasn't even 40 years old!
This is outstanding dude, if your not working in cinema, you missed your calling.
Great build up. The long shot with Jones on the horse followed by the plane explosion = twinge worthy.
Holy shit that small pause and silence between the lines "men will kill for it" - "men like you and me" is epic!!
agreed, this is very well done
Great editing. Just need John Williams' score in there

@@RappinPicard But they didn't in the original movie trailer!
@@RappinPicard he could of done it over 'the map room' audio
Would of been epic
True, we do need his score, but although it’s copyright so.

Indiana Jones 4 LIFE!
I appreciate you leaving out William’s score. By omitting it, you really flesh out just how great this story is.

Fantastic work.
This seriously deserves more views. Great job!

Wow dude this is great! Your channel is seriously underrated you deserve more subs
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!!
Well put together. That was just great! Now I have to rewatch the film... again:)
This is GREAT. Amazing work!!!
Great work, but I don't know if I would have revealed the Ark at the start. Part of the movie's brilliance is that we get to see it when Indy does.
this is a "modern" trailer after all, so one of the rules is that it has to spoil it.
Brilliant!! Amazing job!!
Awesome man, the idea and the final work! Congrats!
Well done.
cool.
Indiana Jones...Time to march on with the man.
Very nicely done.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwww, epic, congratulations!
Nicely done
Brilliant. I enjoyed that. I would be booking my tickets if it was a new release :)
lol this is the bes formula, wheres the quippy interaction thingy ryt at the end tho
Love this movie!
herr doktor jones esh schnell fantastik von goot
Love it. Funny thing is this modern trailer gives me a major Uncharted (game not movie) vibe!
More trailers please!
👏👏👏👏

Excellent work. It's too bad you can't use the original score.
for the algorithm
Please do one for Crystal Skull.
is this from a blu ray source?
Please do close encounters of the third kind.
great work, my only choice would be to 30 seconds less, i feel any trailer shouldnt go over 1:30 as they give away too much
Backing soundtrack made it seem a little too epic
too many spoilers I think
Which makes it accurate to today's modern trailers.

The best Indiana Jones movie, easy.
Song name?
@Finnien MacCool Guessing this is a quip?
@Finnien MacCool >:(
@@AdmiralAckbar. this song is gravity wave my twelve titans music.
Just replace the generic dramatic music with the classic John Williams theme and I would give it a 10/10
I think you're missing the point.
@@leeward5907 Oh, I don't think so
@@ruckhusstudios1012 Ok
Modern trailer but you can tell it’s not a modern movie.
But it would have spoiled the movie. The art of the trailer is to hint at things, not engage in wanton spoilers.
Nope
Indiana Jones is not an Epic.

Ehh don't really like this
