  • "Should we be pro-Israel or pro-Arab or anti-Israel or anti-Arab? ... But I think there's a third option to this that we so often forget about-why can't we be pro-American?" then-U.S. Rep. Ron Paul said on the House floor in 2001. Amid a new surge in violence in the region, is Paul's message still relevant?

Of course Ron Paul was right. Countries cannot be enemies, only people can. Countries are abstract concepts, not biological thinking beings. Wars are not possible unless people dehumanize the residents of a country by treating them (even children and pets) as a unit. No money should be given to political leaders, especially if it was extorted from those who earned it. No president represents me accurately and few in Congress, and if I was in another country their leader would not represent me either. I know lots and lots of people who would manage international relationships better than any political process and they would do it with their own money and with donor support. We should have a neutral foreign policy and stop our magical thinking that we can mandate peace through political force and bribery paid from stolen funds.

For the people yes, but not for the Deep State, mega corporations, banksters... Which is why they had to sink his candidacy.

UA-cam removed my original comment. I mentioned a certain lobbyist group that brags that 98% of the candidates they backed in 2022 won office, which is why politicians won't join Ron Paul on this subject.
UA-cam didn't bother checking the AIPAC website that openly shares that information.
