I have the judder in a 330e in 6th. Only happens when the oil cooler stat is fully open @75c. I think the oil cooler may be lowering the level in the sump causing erratic shifts when the cooler is engaged. It doesnt happen under 69c and this is the extra temp the stat begins to open. I tried the adaptions many times and it made no diff
same with my 330e as well. have you been able to fix the issue? when it reaches temperature it also happens to me in 3rd gear. I would really like for you to share your knowledge on what you have done and if things have worked for you.
Has anyone experienced an issue, i select drive and the vehicle obviously moves forward without applying the throttle, then when you do apply the throttle it double jumps as if it were taking up slack somewhere? In both forward and reverse gears. It also does the same double jump/clunk when down shifting from 2-1st. Any ideas what would cause this??
thanks for sharing your knowledge but was it really proven to be fixed on such a short test drive ? from what i read, the fault seems to only occure after 30 mins of driving, when the EV battery is discharged. Do you have any thoghts on the actual cause ?
Hi yes this fixed the issue for this vehicle. However, it seems to be common for bmw to do this and they can go back to low in oil or dead battery and many other things.
Also yes the test drive was done for a while also we did. Roughly 20 miles ish in it. It never came back with the fault also we’ve not heard anything as of yet.
100% true, it worked for me on a 2015 bmw 428 thank you very much.
That’s great news 👍
