As for gaming, I don’t know what you’re wearing but these are amazing. I like IEM’s because I mainly VR. Playing Pavlov, I can clearly hear what direction footsteps are coming from, much better than the Pulse Elite garbage Sony just released. I can hear all the little details in the background playing RE4/8. In GT7, the engine sounds are sublime. The Camaro I have supercharged literally sounds like I’m in the drivers seat when I mash the throttle. I can feel the motor. These are fabulous for gaming.
I bought these headphones spontaneously, and decided to watch this video. At first I thought that I had miscalculated the choice, but at the end of the video you said that they were great, that was enough for me not to sell them))
I have ie200. It is the best bright signature iem. It is affordable, comfortable, and easy to listen to. But the con is the mid is a bit lean back. But still it is an amazing iem.
This is a good review. Very good points. I have this IEM and the Hexa. I've tried many tips and I use the silcones that come with them. I don't use the resister either. I thought it made the sound "wirey". I run the Red flat and with open bore tips through the Mojo2. I boost the bass 3db and use the wide bores on Hexa. I don't know wtf I'm doing, but I'm having fun. Not much money. I don't prefer either one. They're just different. It's a pleasure to listen to John Lee Hooker's Big Legs, Tight Skirt. And Shostakovitch Jazz Suite No2.
Thanks! I love your approach to audio. I feel like we often forget to have fun with our gear at the expense of getting super critical about technical performance. I've been cycling through the Red, Hexa, and now the Salnotes Dioko.
The reds are absolutely mind blowing for metal and rock. I just got done with a session listening to Machine Heads “The Burning Red”. I’ve never heard it so clean and crunchy before. The slow breakdown at the end of “A Thousand Lies” and the famous end of “Davidian”? Forget about it. My neck hurts and my ears are ringing. That’s a good listening session. Rush 2012, while I’ve heard it better sounds mind blowing as well. Something about these leave the lows down where they need to be with metal but the kick drums you can feel. But those mids and highs. Oh. The bliss. I think these are perfect. And for $54? I don’t think a metal head can ask for anything better unless he wants to go into the higher price bracket. They make my AirPods Pro’s sound small and tinny. And they were $250!
@@elijahelisha8229 Not so much. They’re not really Bassy. I have some old school gangster rap like NWA, Ice Cube, Wu Tang, Run DMC, 2 Live Crew, etc. that’s really the only rap I listen to and it sounds good. Just can’t feel the bass like they’re intended to be felt.
Reds. For sure. If you listen to a lot of hip hop you may be disappointed. These I think are tuned for metal. Crunchy guitars. And rock with a lot of highs and mids. If you like metal and rock, these are the ones.
Guys, im writing from hospital, my scenario is thruthear crinacle zero red, btr/ white, deezer hifi, im so pleasent... sorry fo awfull english.. but ive never heard never before! My soul just fly over)))
@@siddhesh2888Doesn’t it make it sound muddy? And low volume? I can’t stand the 10 ohm they sent with them. Sounds like fake bass. But I don’t listen to much hip hop.
Yes! Same connotation and target sound but the actual delivery of "flat" sound will be different depending on if you're listening to an IEM, closed back headphone, open back headphone, or speakers due to natural acoustic properties.
Sri I am use hi res audio supported (24bit -192kdz) smartphone this iem work or not my smart phone without dac I am mostly travel person dac with Iem not very comfortable
bought a pair, one of the drivers broke in one of the iems in less than 5 days. got a new pair thinking it was just that one faulty pair, same thing happened with a few weeks. they just break
Dang that’s such a bummer. I haven’t seen many reports of build being a problem but at its price, I’m not too surprised. Sorry you’re having that experience.
So generally IEMs are not fully recommended for mixing and mastering since they don't give a great representation of imaging and soundstage so anything that goes over the ears or speakers will be better. So in that regard HD600, HD6XX, or HD650 would be much better. However, if I had to give a recommendation under $100 the Truthear Hexa performs incredibly well. Otherwise, the Moondrop Blessing has been said to be incredible for mixing as far as IEMs go, but it's very expensive.
I just got there and i like them but, the bass is overwhelming for gaming, I can only hear my one gunshots(which are crazy loud 😭) how can i tweak these settings?
Be sure you're not running them through the included dongle/bass resistor. Otherwise, unless you use an EQ, unfortunately the sound might be hard to tweak. For gaming, the HEXA might be better.
Okay I'm going to give you all the real deal on these ians they suck bottom line they suck. Everything and every collaboration that critical has done they suck The tuning is so off it's ridiculous I don't get it don't understand why it's that way critical's better than this but they blow Don't let anybody fool you that they're good
I hear some noise in video...

Glad I was able to help reassure your decision!
I agree with your assessment of modern neutral. What do you think about these compared to the Hexa’s?
Can I just say the intro in this video was actually 🔥
Nice review again. Please do a review on Sennheiser IE200 and on any best Planar iem👌🏻👍🏻❤

My pair just came in and honestly they are so much fun, for this price I'm very happy and they will probably be replacing my Hola's

Hi, would you say these are ideal for vocals? I was looking for the "best" pair for vocals in this price range. Thanks.
Great video, thank you!
My budget was 45usd, luckily I found the Zero red on Aliexpress for 46usd and now I can't wait for them to arrive
I bought it at the discount for $39. Absolutely amazing.
I use these with 75ohm impedance plug officially making them a basshead IEM without the need to do EQ.😅
Whoa! 75ohm!? How does it sound with that??
@@KenCreates Basically all frequencies remain same with only 10dB boost to sub-bass.

should i get the zero 2 and use my hyperx sound card or spend 30€ more for crinacle zero reds
does "neutral" here have the same connotation with "flat" when people talk about monitoring speaker?

Philips SHP 9500. Sorry just said it out of habit!
Someone said a cheap IEM is better than even HD600 so I came looking, is there an IEM for mixing mastering, since people are raving about IEMs
