I'm a big fan of a darker, warmer sound. If the treble is too bright, I end up getting a headache. I think I may end up grabbing these soon, they are cheap enough to upgrade my near decade old sennheiser momentums and not worry too much.
I have the non red version. They are really great IEMs for less than $60 for Warzone / MW2. I have some BASN MTPROS that I prefer for sound comfort but they also are quite a bit more in cost.
I got this after watching your review, will mainly use it for more of a open world gaming. Thank you so much for doing reviews like this, albeit Im late into it knowing more is nice and your reviews helped alot!
Hey GT, for you what is the best wireless headset for PC at this time?, for all purposes (mainly gaming but music and movies too) without the price affecting your decision.
Great review. I ordered a pair, though your feedback on the size scares me a bit. Having something for half hour and getting uncomfortable is concerning to me
I have the OG Crinacle Zeroes. Mainly use it for gaming. Love it, but some of the highs are too sharp for my liking. I guess the Reds are very tempting but my wife gonna judge me if I bought the third IEMs in 3 months lol.
Just got these. I'm coming from Bose around the ear headphones. The Quiet Comfort. And AirPods Pro. These sound much better than both. Without any DAC. Driven by my iPhone. And plug up nicely to my PSVR2. Got them today, and the cord is already dead. It's extremely thin and where it connects to the 3.5mm jack somehow it must have twisted and I can see bare wires. Left bud works, right does not. Getting another cord. Just be aware. If you buy these, go ahead and buy a decent cord because the one that comes with it is about as delicate as a piece of silk.
Thanks for explaining what I heard with that adapter I must admit at first I was confused as the bass stayed the same but the mids and highs went down so bass boost is a poor description but apart from that these sound really good for the price.
Have you thought about reviewing the kiwi ears orchestra lite? Ive seen theses recommended a ton for gaming but cant find too many comprehensive reviews on youtube
Any chance you can review the Antlion Kimura DUO? A lot of youtubers just talk about the mic and don't really talk about the audio performance of the IEM's themselves. Would be nice to know your thoughts.
I’ve always been an over ear headphone guy for gaming, but I’d really like to try some iems but I have a odly shallow ear and I’m concerned about spending $55 and them not fitting in my ear at all. Do I just buy some and try?
I plan to use an iem for gaming and music/media. I'm looking at this and Dunu Kima. What would you guys think? Cuz people say that Kima has better soundstage and imaging.
I have them and I EQ them with Oratory 1990's PEQ to make them even more Harmon. I drive them with my LG V20 phone, and I think they are excellent that way: Super clean, wonderful timbre, and very natural imaging. I also just got the Simgot EA500 LM and by way of comparison the Simgot's seem a little more detailed with more specific, concrete imaging, and they are also better at reproducing male vocals, while the Red;s have a more natural tonal balance, and seem better at recreating a coherent sound space, though for both that's strictly an in-head space. I still don't have what I feel are properly fitting tips for the EA 500's yet, so just ordered the 5 size pack of Velvets to fix that. Ultimately, I think, between the two of them I have my IEM game covered for at least the next 5 years.
Hi, tks for the video. Just dropped a like and subscribed. How would you put these against the astro a40tr. I know that these are totally different pieces but I own ones and was looking for better for gaming... Specifically escape from tarkov. Thanks in advance
Oh no, I have small ears and I've always had issues with fit. I just ordered these and it's my first ever set of IEM so I'm not really sure what to expect. I hope the bore size doesn't get me too bad.
Hi bro, i put a comment on your video that you made for the eq of warzone2 season 4, can i ask you an advice on the right settings on Sonar? thank you a lot for your job
Hey man i hope u answer i am torn between the astro a30gen2 and nova 7 and the h7 , i need them for ps5 and music listening on bluetooth and don’t know what to pick since u have tried all what do u recommend ? I do have a laptop if i want to eq a headset
I’ve done some research on these and just ordered the original Crinacle Zero’s because apparently for FPS games it’s better and preferred when it comes to footsteps and imaging and apparently it has ridiculously great imaging
@@famezy9103Yeah I own both red and blue. I wouldn't say amazing imaging but they are better than the red overall imo. You should get the tin c2 mech warrior for games and imaging if you're looking to be a cheap ass
@@jcap8391 I’m not being a cheap ass lol. I own tons of audio products and have spent probably over 20K in the last few years including my home hifi set up. I just don’t listen to music enough when travelling, so I don’t see the point in spending lots of money on IEM’s. I just simply wanted to try them to see how they are for gaming, because from what I’ve read online in lots forums and professional sites, IEM’s much better imaging than headsets and headphones I’ve been using the Zero for a whole day now and I can honestly say that it sounds amazing. They weren’t wrong when they said it’s identical to the Harman curve and sound quality. Imaging is also I think really good, better than my SteelSeries Nova 7
@@M0_305 I’ve been using the original Zero for a whole day. I’ve tested them in gaming and music. Although I don’t really care about the music side, because I don’t really listen to music when travelling and it’s mostly a home pleasure for me to relax with music I tried them with various games including COD MW2. I’d say imaging is better than my SteelSeries Nova 7 and that already has really good imaging, so the Zero is a winner in imaging Overall sound quality is also I think better than the Nova 7 and again it already has really good sound quality for a gaming headset, so another win for the Zero They’re actually comfortable as well. I normally have an issue with ear buds as they seem to just fall out of my ears, but these come with a selection of tips and they fit my ears really well I think overall it’s a great IEM for gaming and I’ll be using these when not online with friends, but when playing with friends I’ll use the Nova 7 as it has a mic
So many good iems under $100 right now! These are in my top 5. Olina se, ea500, zero red, quartet, cadenza. The first 3 are amazing for metal. Kz zvx, d-fi, pr2, qkz x hbb, truthear Hexa, hola, blon z300, seeaudio rinko, 7hz legato, salnotes zero, and tangzu wan’er are honerable mentions.
The nozzle is a bit uncomfortable for me for long listening. I wish more IEM company can make a better sounding IEM with the comfort of Moondrop SSP/SSR

These IEMs are great! Got them on release and can't stop listening to them. Awesome review!
They are amazing indeed. They play everything well!
These are flatter than my ex gf. I dislike the sound signature 😮
Perfect and uncompromised review. You got me at the TOOL mention, Brother. Thank you!
Always very detailed review. Love it!
I just bought this and my man, they're one of the absolute best things ive had in my ears, i encourage anyone to try em
Gaming wise, what you think about the OG Crinicle Zeros vs this Reds?
Been a huge fan of Crin for some time now. Love his openness about his collabs.
Any chance we'll get to see you review the Dusk 3?
I hope to expand IEM coverage in August and forward from there. July is a busy month atm!
great review as always, thanks. In your opinion specificaly for FPS which one is best, OG or Red?
I bought these and they are awesome for the price. They sound sooooo good. Great review

Awesome review dude. Really like your videos.
For those that dont have the blue or the red, should we just get the red?
Have you tried Symbio W tips? They are hybrid silicone casing with foam inner. I've found them the most comfortable on that massive barrel over time.
I haven't, but thanks for the heads up!
Ty for very thorough and detailed review...am going to try them out.
You're welcome!

You can charge the headset directly via USB-C then just switch them out so you charge both. You won't need the transmitter for that

Yup! You can buy the two-pin Antlion Kimura or something similar and have a mic on them.
