    Unfortunately, all the hills get steeper as we get older, Ben.

    Nice to see new players walking across the lawns of the big brands. My reservation is, as a lefty I’m left out in the woods. 🤓🤔

      As a fellow lefty, we can use our right hand just enough to be better than righty.😊

    Garmins have sleep mode too. That’s what I do with the 1040 Solar, just put it to sleep between rides and rarely reboot. Single click on the ‘power’ button on the left side puts it to sleep or wakes it up with very little delay.

    I think they could put the solar panel on the bottom, so as to move the display forwards and perhaps even print some markers on the bottom area to have soft (i.e., touch sensitive) buttons or have them operate over the solar panel. A digitizer is clear and transparent, an we can see that it already has one.

    Yeah that tiny wheel feels a bit too sensitive, even indoors looks like you are a bit scared to turn it too far

    I've been with your channel since early days when you were at less than 10K subs. I've always valued your opinion and enjoyed your presenting style. Having said that, if you ever show me another product like this, which clearly has no business being revealed to the public in it's current form, I will unsubscribe from your channel. You can't tell me that Coros will be able to ship units in the next 6 months that will have even basic functionality.

      You know the thing with software updates is that they are updating when you already bought them, like your phone and computers, that’s just how the industry works. If the hardware is good, it might be worth it, but I try to never buy first generation hardware, but the software might not be a problem long term.

      @@ivarbrouwer197 I totally get that. When Garmin released the 540/840 I knew there would be a whole bunch of software updates to address issues that came up as people started using them. I have no issue with that. But the Garmins were at least 90% there, this thing from Coros isn't even close to having basic functionality - and there's no way they'll get that all sorted for July shipping of the units.

      @@thedronescene7474 I've seen it. A lot of people would be happy paying for this solely for the battery life relative to cost.

    Hey Ben, I’m looking into doing this route in early October. I might skip the Boulder to Estes (and back) part of it if I can find an option for transportation. I see that the Bustang stops running at the end of September, do you know of any alternative options for someone like myself that can’t drive and wants to get from Boulder to Estes/RMNP (or close to it) with their bike? Thank you!

    This bike computer looks like my DAP from A&K which is wild. How does it work with route importing from Komoot/Ride with GPS?

    • @TheRidewithBenDelaney
      @TheRidewithBenDelaney  3 місяці тому +1

      That is one of those “it is coming” things. I was able to import from Strava routes, but you have to select the route manually.
