I’ve been a big of you for years on LinkedIn & was so glad to find you on UA-cam! I’ve watched your entire masterclass on how to get a job & nail interviews. I spent one week applying for jobs left and right. I heard back within 2-3 days from my “dream job” that would literally double my income.
I spent an entire day watching your videos, taking notes, and doing research into the organization I had an initial interview with. I prayed before each step in the process and I went through each step at peace and knowing it was going to be mine (thanks to your advice! I’m usually a nervous wreck)
I was moved on to the second round the following day & I was excited! I went back to my notes from your masterclass and started fine tuning my responses to some interview questions & started practicing what I was going to say out loud. I left that second interview confident that I nailed it!
Just a few days later I was sitting in a 3rd interview with the CEO. Within the first 2 minutes of the conversation he says “this is really an informal interview… we’re just having a conversation so I can get to know you. Anybody who comes as highly recommended as you from (name) & (name) is in the door. So tell me about yourself.” I’ve never been so excited and prepared to tell him about myself! My skills, my background, and what I can bring to the company. I received my offer letter the NEXT MORNING!!!!!!!

I've was just in a situation while during the interview, the interviewer asked me a question I was not prepared for. I asked her to repeat the question and used that time to gather myself and nailed the question!
I do that too 😅
Most companies don't give time for preparation, an invitation would sent today for tomorrow interview.

I love going to interviews, because I don't failed interviews. Am always confidence and ready to answer any questions they asked me.
I stumbled across your video 2 hours before I went for interview, it helped me a lot, felt like you were sent directly by God to instil the calmness and reassure me that God is with me, all I need to do is my best and God will do the rest. Thank you very much❤
Bridgette I found that interviewers have been judgemental when they see that I have mostly contract job positions, after the recession it has been so hard to find permanent employment.

@@lizethalvarez9710 I did not get the position at work. I did ask for suggestions for next time and was told that I did very well and should do the exact same thing and continue to apply as new opportunities arise. It was a very competitive role where over 100 employees applied in 2 days.
This has really opened my mind. I failed my previous interview now I am confident I will ace the coming interview.

I will work on my congeniality part of me and I will land my job before year end. I will keep praying.
I'm struggling with quantifying soft skills. For example, I worked as a respite care provider for families taking care of children with special needs while caretakers get some rest. I'm not selling anything or improving productivity. Or if I'm increasing productivity no one is counting it. I wonder how others in caretaking roles quantify their skills and achievements.

I love this. We use the STAR technique as a general rule (situation task action and result). Be prepared also to answer questions like what do you like least in a job. Turn it into a positive.

Very good points. I think the problem with many of us, we do not learn these techniques as we go along, we try to cram in the information just before an interview and sometimes get confused.
