Yesterday I went to a job interview after watching two of her videos. Specifically she said she could tell confidence and experience by the candidate’s posture. My interviewer told me that she could tell I was qualified by my resume which I am but previously I always felt lacking and looking for validation. I basically focused on sitting with my shoulders back a bit. So we ended discussing other things and yes I did get a rousing offer
Preparing for my second interview coming up in three days. First interview was by phone. Next is in-person. I have listened to other coaches and have to say you are a Godsend. I love the calm, professional, charming, funny way you present content. I believe this opportunity is the one God has for me, but I must do my part to prepare. Thank you for all the great tools and advice. Having done all to stand, stand therefore...
@@maccathetracca wow, sorry for the long silence. This isn't a primary account, so doesn't get the attention it deserves. I am grateful for the video training. It allowed me to catch the switcherRoo they were trying with me. Half way through, I said, I am sorry, this doesn't seem to be a fit. He asked me to continue interview anyway. Asked were there any jobs/area I was not interested. Yes, freezer! 🥶🏖
Omg! I want to say thank you! I listened to this video right before my interview they asked this question you don’t know how happy I was. I was prepared and answered it great. They were impressed by my answer. This was great thank you!
Youre fantastic. I love it when you said...unemployment is temporary. God is great. Its a matter of one yes. Oh my God....youre great person. Thanks for inspiring me and all of us here. We will keep believing.
She is talking about oversharing information that could eliminate you as a candidate. Smh Like saying that your have anger issues or a bad temper. Or saying that you have a drinking problem which is something a candidate told her. Did you listen to the video at all? Smh
In addition to your admirable personality and good professional you are, I love you are a believer. It is one more reason to trust on you. I have deep admiration and respect for you Brigette. God bless you everyday. ❤🙏
Very very very interesting! Sometimes I feel like I look forward to your parting shot where you encourage job-seekers to keep the faith. Job-search/interviews is the biggest emotion draining venture.
Thank you so much for producing these videos. You've helped me quite a bit. These interview questions & responses have been some of my "weaknesses" since I've been a little out of practice on the interview front. Thank you for your encouragement at the end of each video!
Everytime I listen it's as if you are speaking directly to me. You will get your YES, don't be discouraged ect. I came to your page in preparation for an interview, and I will be successful in my interview thanks again. You provide an invaluable service
I came across one of your videos on Linked in and had to find all of your videos. I often search online to learn more and more and find your videos so relatable. Thank you so much for what you do. Your great.
Thank your for your comprehesive approach and advice! Even being a bit beyond my mid-career point, your tips and points still feel relevant, and I realize that I should work on my response to this question.
I think your content is above and beyond amazingness. Platform that doesn't appreciate neither recognize such work needs to he upgraded, fixed and educated. You and your work are beautiful:)
I am so happy that I found you on LinkedIn and these videos. I am in a later career change and job search. I recognize several of my weaknesses, but my biggest challenge is that my education far outstrips my experience. I am looking at entry level positions, in organizations where I can move up within the company as I gain hands on experience. Your videos are giving me much to think about as I prepare for interviews later this week and next.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT WORDS OF WISDOM. @Brigette Hyacinth I happened to read one of your posts on Linkedin and started watching your videos. then I can't stop moving from one to another because those videos provide very helpful tips for my carreer and learning process.
My recent experience has been never ever mention even the word micromanage. I recently did not get a job because of the topic. I was provided feedback that they were Leary of the word in itself regardless of the spin.
Thank you for your great tips on this video! This was one of the questions on my interview last week. And because of your helpful tips and encouragement, I nailed this question with confidence and authenticity! I did get the job 🎉🎉❤️!! Thank you again and God bless you for your help. 🙏🏽

Dear Brigette. Your advices are really great, so generous. Thank you so much. I have watched many of your videos already and also I am very impressed about the way you speak without hesitation. Very valuable tips as I'm currently working on a career shift and will have to start the dreaded interview process all over again 😢. Watching your videos has definitely made me more confident preparing for interviews. Thank you so much for the gems and encouragement!❤
Thank you for this. How ever @18:35 the example of weakness on "over talking versus practicing active listening", seem to have lasted for almost 2 minutes. I have seen several videos that says keep your responses short and straight to the point. I like to hear your thoughts on this please. How long should a response last for, and is there any framework or flow for the response?
I think it depends on your interview too. For example a panel interview where they are exploring competencies you want to go in-depth explaining and showing how you over come it and how it pertains to this job other interviews where it’s one on one you might want to be straight to the point and then talk how you are over coming it. Just remember not all interviews are the same.
I love this! This was always a hard response for me. Have a question, it is said that you should not disparage a former employer if you recall a difficult situation and how you overcame it.
Hi Bridget. Thanks for the great channel. What if your weakness is leadership? How can you frame this carefully in order to explain that it is something that you are actually constantly striving towards but don't find it easy or natural?
