Fess left in 2013 after 35 yrs, not a bad stint.
Brendan Callinan only lasted 10 yrs, 1978-1988, most bands don't last that long.
Mark Lucas on Drums since 1989.
Brian and Geoff since 1978, wow that's a staggeriing 42 yrs.
Outstanding Aussie band with a wide range of songs and styles.

I had my Radiators cassette stolen by an older mate that brought his nephew into the pub as I showing what tapes I had. I walked away to serve other customers to come back and find it missing. I was so pis... annoyed, they never came back in again. Questioning led nowhere, only anger.
I bought the CD afterwards, but that was the first time someone blatantly stole from me.
I loved that tape, and my faith in other people/friends died a little on that day.
I lost a bunch of really precious tapes when me and a partner split .
Why oh Why did I leave those there 😩

Saw these guys everywhere from Rooty Hill to The Playroom back in the day and they never disappointed.
Mick C Haha same. We moved to the GC in ‘90. Looking for a place to rent, when we drive by ‘The Playroom’, and giant big billboard with upcoming bands. Rads were on that Saturday night. I said we are renting a place in walking distance to this joint, and we did for four fabulous years. It was like Rooty Hill RSL on the water. Fuck I miss those days.
I first heard the Rads rehearsing in a garage in Blacktown...might have been 1977. The original drummer Mick, his parents owned a garage on Richmond Road. I saw the Rads many times in local pubs.
Saw them at Courthouse hotel Toowoomba,94 was very young and loved every bit of the gig😊
Wow, didn't know they appeared at the Court House, saw them at the Refec in about 83 and the Powerhouse in 84, great nights.

Saw them live one night in the 80's at the Jet Club, in Coolangatta
I was at this gig too and a regular in the Chubb Lounge - dangerous nights those ones. After getting smashed while rockin to The Rads on this particular night a group of us then drove home to Letho in my old Morris Minor. There was about ten of us crammed in and fighting with each other all the way back and we got pulled over by the cops after running down the school fence because a female passenger was trying to belt me up while I as driving. We were so pissed and they still let me get back in the car and drive it home, although the others had to walk. Rock On!
I was sure I saw The Rads play at the Concert of the Decade on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in 79 but can't seem to find any evidence to support this. Can anybody else recall if they were there?

Still good to see live in 2021 but I wish they would put a keyboard player back into the band like the early days, it adds so much to the ssongs.
Seen the guys play bout 2 years ago at shortland R.S.L. Big night,REAL ROCK,REAL MUSIC.Back 2 a day when music scene was alive and off the chain.

When I was 16, a Queensland high school called KEDRON stopped a friend of mine wearing a GIMME HEAD T-Shirt to sports. I did not go to school, so I hobbytexted the same shirt design so I had it perfect - on White instead of Black. Stafford Skating 1980's.

Long story short I grew up in place called Cypress terrace in Palm beach on the Goldcoast ,Queensland, Australia.
WHEN I WAS YOUNG I BMXED Over and PAST THIS CORNER ST HOUSE THE EDGE OF CYPRESS TERRACE WHICH WAS TOTALLY PUMPING.I mean BASS , THIS House was a monster !
