I’ve said it many times before, Suze is hands down one of the best rock singers (male or female) of the last 25 years and the Baby Animals are criminally underrated as a band. Dave Leslie is a beast on guitar.
Dawn Nuno Bettemcourt. ribbed us of 20 years of Suze and the Baby Animals. Shaved and Dangerous us a fantastic second album that doesn't get played enough or get enough credit. Backbone live....chills

I feel sad when I see the views (less than a mill.) I watched a doco on them and I feel sad ,really sad .Jeepers .They are (for me) top 20 easily, maybe top 10 best bands ever ,they have 8 or more killer songs and I feel sorry for them . They are one of the greats for me .LOVEM
Great band great singer. Here is a question for the Aussies out there that could help me remember a band's name: 1987 or 1988 Melbourne show with Divynyls, Painters and Dockers and I band I remember introduced as Violet Town. Was there an Aussie band called Violet Town?
@@paulwells4203 I've not heard of them but they are mentioned here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Killjoys_(Australian_band) so they must have been a band doing gigs in Melbourne back in the day.
Love that.(what you said) I had always thought they were half N.Z .which in rockworld means Australian , i.e Dragon ++++++ so many greats from there .if you want to know a few N.Z. bands just ask me .Crowded house is one
I seen this band support Bryan Adams back in 91 in Glasgow and they blew me away...i thought theyd have been uber massive. They have the songs and an amazing frontwoman....their record company has a lot to answer for as they should be bigger
Saw these guys last Saturday in Brisbane with #Truck. Amazing! So many good memories brought back from 90s road trips. A nostalgic night. A rockin great Aussie band. LOVE you Suze, Dave and the band #BabyAnimals. Soooo goood! Thank you!
I had a friend who used to introduce me to all sorts of different music and Baby Animals was one of those. I played their stuff to death at one stage - couldn't get enough of it!
They should have sold more records overseas and made more money,,,one of the best bands of aussie rock etc: They ripped it up ,,,Suze is the best!!!Love to all, regards.
Walked everywhere as a 17 year old in the early 90's with Baby Animals, Nirvana , The Mark Of Cain, Icehouse and Midnight Oil cranked up to 10 on the walkman....
Australia has some of the best rock bands on the planet. These guys being one of them. They KIKK MAJOR ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lost my CD Shaved & Dangerous , major loss! Loved this group. Gotta get hold of another somehow..
Now THIS is how you rock the shit outta it!! Im still a huge fan of the Baby Animals. I was front row at a gig in Newcastle in the 90s..that place went fucking off!! Suze DeMarchi...*drool*!!
a debut album as good as it gets, the baby animals should have been huge for a lot longer than they were. Would definately see them play live if i had the chance.
Omg I remember. Eddie Use To Be Friends With My Dad. They Use To Have Barbecues Together and His Kids Use To Play with my Sisters and I. Ahhh good days.
I got to see them in the nineties. Unbelievable. At interval i went outside and Suze Demarchi was leaning against a car taking a break. Got to say hello.
Suze stopped mid song to tell off some hero bouncers, who had me in a headlock trying to throw me out for pogo dancing with my mates. Needless to say they let me go and we enjoyed the rest of this great gig. SUZE ROCKS
that was when music was really played with heart..and lead guitarist really and played not like guitar heros do now...oh yeah girl you rock! so where are you now?

How do ya mean underrated?
If ya mean international fame you'd have to include john farnem also
@@jessesmith9949 I think underrated is pretty self explanatory, and apparently you can’t read either never said anything about international

My band supported this lot, in the early 90's. Nice guys.
Superb underrated Australian band 👍🏻
havin a beer with these guys at Perth Airport right now!
Saw them live opening for Hunters and Collectors in Parramatta, they killed it H&C had a tough job following them up. Her voice is just so powerful.
No offense to H&C, but there's no comparison. Suzie always sings in tune for starters...
Hunters would have Died Playing after Baby Animals! H & C are a Mediocre Band at Best imho

Saw them on the same tour in Milan. Of course, same reaction ;)
@@shitchops their record company went bust. That, plus throat surgery for Suzi stole the air out of their sails... not just time passing them by.

Good to see a singer holding the mic right
They should have sold more records overseas and made more money,,,one of the best bands of aussie rock etc: They ripped it up ,,,Suze is the best!!!Love to all, regards.
Saw them play in a small club back in '91 or '92 in Columbia, SC and loved them! Went to Peaches records the next day and bought their album.
I would be very interested if Pink could pull this off, Suzi is still my most powerful female voice in rock to this day, love this band.
