Number one keeping your truck maintained is preventative maintenance a lot of times guys don't do a simple thing as change the oil like you supposed to and you got two more boxes you have to service the transmission and the rears

@@PermanentHigh I did things a little differently. I drove OTR for an upstart company for 3 months to get a feel for it. Didn’t love it or hate it but another opportunity came along. I now drive locally. Home every evening, off on weekends, full benefits all while driving a 2022 Mack trucks.

Guess what you said right thing non Cdl your box truck is because the weight it has be only 26000 pound and under. If is 26001 over pound and thru 33000 is CDL does require my friend he has Cdl class B since last year he is driving f750 dump truck the GVWR is 33000 pound. You know how the weight is. Drive safely..👍

No. It has air brake... Period. Yes there are other circumstances that can be wastefully discussed but I'm a trucker and my wife is an instructor. It has air brakes. (CDL req.) Gvwr gets trumped just because

I started in my box truck (non airbreak). That diesel ⛽️ is a mfker, plus the maintenance. So now I've been running my sprinter van doing expedite. I'm going to finish out the winter doing that. Anyone selling a trailer let me know. I live in Houston.

Driving a manual makes it last a lot longer and changing a clutch is much cheaper than replacing an automatic transmission.
