for those that stay at the vdara, the lack of plates and utensils is normal. if you would like to have them, you would need to contact house keeping and they will send them up. at least that was how its was done in the past.
Several years ago the tablet on the nightstand (5:25) was a remote control for the TV, window shades, lights and room temperature. It was free to use…not sure if it’s still the same.
As another commenter said it was part of a 7 or 9 billon dollar project called city center. The Aria, Cosmopolitan, Mandrin Oriental was all part of the project. This is my preferred place to stay when I come to Las Vegas. I like the Vdara suite over that one. This place is so quiet.
I stayed in that same floor plan once. One of my favorite suites. Only thing I didnt like were those shades. Light still comes in around the edges, and even that giant flashing CVS billboard a block away was flashing light in the room all night. Im used to those Vegas blackout curtains that let in zero light even during day.
Thank you for the beautiful hotel review. I am thankful you did not try to travel during the holiday crush. Surprised you carry a lighter. For health reasons, I pray you do not smoke.
I guess my expectations were a bit high given the brand name Vdara, but this executive suite is a kinda disappointing. I've experienced executive suites that had ice cube maker fridge, microwave, Keurig maker stocked with wide selection of coffee/teas, cupboards full of various glasses, cups, mugs, plates, bowls, utensils, 65" TVs, huge shower stall & jetted tub, bidet, etc...Thanks for this great room tour so people can set their expectations for this room. Love your videos 👍
Surprised that a full washer and dryer was included. Not surprised that they didn’t provide any laundry pods since you didn’t get any pots / pans or plates in the kitchen. They could have stepped up and made all their rooms similar to an extended stay hotel. Guess they didn’t want to deal with cleaning up the kitchen. A very nice suite nevertheless
How odd that they leave all the doors open. Especially in a upgraded room. Not really welcoming. Woman's mirror? Huh. Thanks for sharing the room and your view .
Of course they are not going to do anything to the Rio until Caesars contract runs out and the new owners take over. Then it will be completely remodeled. You are lucky that it is at least pretty clean.

I'm glad to see you have several backup hats.
When cosmo first opened there were laundry machines in the terrace suites. Was brilliant when on a long visit, sad they’re gone.
Geezzzz that place is larger and nicer than my one bd apt. I'd love to have the stacked washer and dryer ! Thanks for the tour Danny. 👍👍😄😎
Thanks for watching!

That's a super nice room. It's like a fancy condo.

I like that surprise laundry most of all🎉
Nice digs! Better than most places if one is a member and stays over 3 or 4 nights.
Best room I have seen Mr. Danny in.
One of my favorite hotel very modern
Very nice for a hotel room
This has to be my fave room.

All you need to do is call and ask. They will provide everything you need upon request.
He never said he was a food critic. Just enjoy critiquing the food just like the Yelp website. Please stop picking on him. Not really fair. 😕
Nice perk with w/d in the room. Might have to lose more money in the casino and stay there again on your next trip.
What was under the stove? You never mentioned it.
omg, I dont know... I rewatched the video and whatever it was, I never used it
I wish my vehicle had an Emergency Toilet!
Why you put your suitcase on the dining table.?
accessibility (height) and light

They don't leave them open. Listen again at 1:54 Danny says that he left them open.
@@stephenbeecher7545 Ahhhh - thank you - I did miss that.
