This is what I've been saying. A limited Tacoma is around 55K. You can get a limited Tundra for around 57-58K. Doesn't make much sense to get something cramped like the Tacoma. Unless you have a small garage or something.

I looked at a full sized Denali nicely optioned at 82-85K ..... THAT IS INSANE ... the reason for the popularity of the mid sized trucks is they're some 20K less than full size........ ALL TRUCKS are now insanely priced. The question is which model is the less of the insane?
Felt lining of the undercarriage hasn't stood up for me in my 2024 TRD Sport. 1 month in and its in pieces (I did take off the airdam so maybe that contribuited...)
I truly would like to know what percentage of people can practically afford newer trucks without being financially over-extended. It's certainly not what would be considered average income earners today. Prices are out of control and salaries are not budging.
I bought my 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 Dbl Cab LB fully loaded ie sunroof, JBL, Tec Pkg etc. for less than $40k when they first came out with the 3rd gen. Gen 4 is up $13,000 with similar but more equipment.
Tired of everyone comparing this Tacoma with all of these great features to their SR5 from 5 years ago. You aren’t in the same league anymore. If you love your Tacoma, great good for you but just because they are both Tacomas doesn’t mean their MSRPs are going to have anything in common. It’s truly a better vehicle with way better tech.

When I saw a TRD Off-road with the premium package (56k MSRP) at the dealership last weekend, they had it priced at 64k.

Bought a 24 tacoma Sport with Sport upgrade and audio upgrade packages for 44k. Absolutely love it. Praying the transmission doesn't act up.

53K for a TRD Sport is pretty expensive! The Pro will probably be around 60-65K! My 2020 TRD Sport had more options and was only 46K.

You can buy a brand new base sport for 43k and it will still have way more features than yours did even with a full upgrade package.
