Love the hood strut. No more obstruction when working on engine. I also like the kick plate of the door pocket. People always kick the door open instead of using their arm. People won't be gentle on the doors of a truck for certain.

Thank you for posting your mods. I like door protectors and the lit front badge addition. The badge looks great! As to the badge, no tools are necessary to remove the badge. Place fingers into lower part of the badge and pull up tab. Badge releases without any issues.
I'm the Outlier amongst your subscribers. I don't own a Tacoma, but I do know a good truck when I see one. I still watch for the installs and upgrades. I do have and still own a 2nd gen Ram 2500 4x4. a 3rd gen. Ram 1500 2wd a 4th gen 1500 4x4 and now a 5th gen Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 .the Ram and Taco have nothing in common, but I'm still a fan of the Tacoma community and have tried to see what mods translate to my Rams. I just got a '24 Tacoma Sport 4x4 in blue crush. I love it. My first Taco! Part of the deal is the dealer to install mud guards and step rails. I'm also getting the front windows tinted and wheels powder coated black. I like the door scuff guards and sill protectors. We are getting more snow than usual this winter. Subbed. Looking forward to seeing more things done to your ride.

Great video! Interesting. I liked the bed mat and Illuminated Emblem and would like to do them both on my Taco. The must have for me was the Door Scuff Protectors. Every 3rd time I get out of my truck I put my foot out to stop the door because of a hill or bounce-back. I hope I can find them for a 2022. Thanks.

It converts your over controlled one wheel drive to 2 wheel drive when right wheel slips, Great for easy offered sandy conditions, or slippery uphill on the streets where I live. I have a 24 sport. Most of us don'r know about it. Also investigate a problem I saw on a video. For the first time Tacos have a welded tow bar instead of a bolted one. An owner got bumped in the back and it pushed the tow bar more than 4mm in (3/8). Since it's now part of the frame, the car is TOTLED.
I was surprised when I got my 24 sport, they gave me the rubber mats along with a few other goodies. Also, the rear rubber mat they gave me is one piece that runs from one side to the other.
Strange the Canadian mats are quite a bit nicer and the rears are one pc. I swapped my 24 fornthe Husky x act contour fornthe 6spd manual. Goes quite a bit farther past the pedals then the stock ones
Toyota cheaped out with the 4th generation weather mats. You touched on one aspect, the separation of the rears is lame. But worse is the quality is a lot more flimsy compared to the 3rd gen.
Unfortunately I don’t think so, since that is the location of the front grille garnish in front of the radar. Maybe in a 2016/17, but unsure of the wiring
I have a 2021 Tacoma SR5 and I just hit 5000 miles yes 5000 miles. My lease was up so I bought the truck. I’m curious with so low miles when should I change the differential fluids.
Even though these new Tacos look amazing I still choose my 3gen since it’s a V6. But If I were to buy another Toyota I would rather go for the new 4Runner or the Land Cruiser 😎💪
I know this has nothing to do with tacoma, I know that. 😂 But I have a sequoia trd pro terra and I wish it had the rear red middle marker lights that the tundra trd pro has at the tailgate ; we have the front middle yellow marker lights but not the rear . 😀
What I really hate about the Toyota floor mats/protectors is, the last 3 Tacomas I've gotten had them as 'add ons' that couldn't be removed and they cost as much as WeatherTech but are no where near as good. On the gen 4, it came w/ 'spray on bed liner'...which to me is kind of pointless for a plastic box...but again, it was a 'non-removable' add-on.
I think the illuminated emblem is going to look extremely tacky in a few years when people add them to all kinds of cars that never came with them. It's okay now (still not my preference) while its still somewhat unique, but it won't be for long. On a side note I saw raptor lights on a Subaru recently, so I think that officially makes them uncool. I'm considering putting them on my Prius just to seal the deal.

canadian version, the headlights can not turn off. no bed gate open switch in car, u must be go to the back to manually open it. SUCK! and I don't know why Toyota not even give u a gascap lock!!!
You have no taste girl. That LED logo is so cheap looking. Like you got it at Autozone. And an exhaust tip? For what? Cut that exhaust off so you have more ground clearance.

Do you ever worry about some mods affecting your warranty? I'm hesitant to do some on mine for that reason but I like watching the mods for Tacoma's
none of these mods would impact the warranty (so long as they are installed correctly) - suspension upgrades on the other hand might impact it
