Seen this problem before on a Renault traffic, the driver was scamming his fuel card and filling his company van with cheap diesel from a building site. New injectors, rail, high pressure pump and fuel tank clean later, one unhappy business owner, one driver out of work

Interesting because the filter shouldn't allow particles through that are large enough to block injector orifices. I think I would be suspecting damage inside the high pressure pump, it's more likely that the contaminated fuel has caused low lubrication of the pump leading to metal fragmentation which is what has caused the injectors to block. Even if the pump is damaged it can still produce sufficient pressure, the pistons inside are quite large so it takes a lot of damage before they will no longer produce enough pressure to pass as normal under diagnostic observation. If this is the case the entire fuel system will need extensive cleaning along with new pump and injectors. Given the age of the vehicle it's doubtful whether it's even worth doing by the time parts and labour are costed out!

Have a 2015 connect in at minute, same thing crank no start, injection driver on ECU faulty... Find the cause tho as plugging in another ECU will blow again..

Nice demo of an injector balance test Sandy. They are perfectly balanced 🤣 Would it be worth while to remove the injectors and attempt to back flush them while actuating them with your test rig. Remove and clean the injector inlet screens if possible. Maybe not…Hope all is well 🍻

Is it possible to take the injector out of the engine and confirm lack of fuel being sprayed ? I saw it done on a petrol car with all the injectors out and aimed at a piece of paper to show the pattern.
p.s. Wouldn't the fact that the injectors are blocked explain why you see no pressure drop.

Probably hp pumps fubured, the bearings fail, due to lack of lubrication with junk diesel, the fragments then block the injectors, lve seen it quite a few times, £1.5k to £2.3k repair cost,

Looks like it was run on red diesel from someone who didn't know how to remove the red dye.

It's the low pressure fuel pump.

You have a can of worms right there, as you know. Contamination that reaches it's way to the injectors, prepare for a nightmare if the customer wants it repaired!
