This is a very complex strategy Sam Piliero. How do you guys keep track of this when managing clients? Doesn’t it just get really messy or do you have some sort of a system to keep track of all these things?
Ah the big question. We have deducted reporting sheets, rules and automations for every single client to make sure we never miss a single optimization.
Love your insight, but I wanna ask couple of thing if you dont mind. (I am new to bid cap) I saw from the example you showed, you filled up $1000 daily budget and set $150 as bid control which is 15%. So if I want to set $200 as my daily budget, should I also set 15% to bid control? Also, duplicating the adset, do you usually run the duplicate adset on the ongoing campaign or do you set a new campaign from copying the ongoing adset? thank you.
I hope you dont mind answering to my questions cause it will help so much. Have a great day, Sam!
I’ve run into several problems with bid caps and cost cap. 1. They over spent on the bid without the results. There are other bid caps that are spending slow but ARE getting very low cpa. How do I get volume in my bid caps?
Nice I love your content. Only runs bid cap. Can we just use bid cap strategy on another ad account? And the other continues with our lowest cost strategy?
I’d fully swap. Anything else would confuse the algo
Great one
Appreciate it!
awesome video. some advice if possible, im running a ad currenly with a £25.00 daily budet, what bid strategy would you suggest? if bid cap, what amount would you select. my ad over the last 30 days has a £20 cost per on facebook lead.
$25 daily just run asc
Whats asc ?@@SamPiliero
@@SamPiliero what is asc?
hello sam nice video.
I have a question, is it okay to add ad creative to the ongoing bidding campaign?
or is it better to create a new bidding campaign with new ad creative?
New ad set for new creative. If you’re spending less than 5k then just throw it all in
What attribution are you using for this strategy?
Usually 7 day click. It depends on the client but really 7dc is the best!
@SamPiliero what about 7day or 1 day view
cost per result works equally well or even better lol
If we used bid cap our account is not spending
Up the bids to start to get spending. If you aren’t spending this is a FEATURE, not a bug. Facebook is saving you money that would be otherwise wasted.
@@SamPiliero I used to use this strategy and it really saved lots of money. If I set a cost per purchase or bid or target CAC $20, it won't run ad if Facebook think it can't bring this CAC or will get minimum reach.
