ROCKY'S ITALY: Rome - Michelangelo’s Capitoline Hill

The Capitoline Hill is one of the seven ancient hills of Rome and once the site of the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus. In 1536, Pope Paul III asked Michelangelo to rebuild the hill and restore it to its former glory. The result was one of the most beautiful architectural spaces ever built!

One time when I was there, one of my LLBean gloves was stolen out of my back pocket. I had taken it off so I could take pictures with my phone. When I reached back to put it on I noticed it was gone. I retraced the ten feet I’d walked but no glove. Better than losing my phone!
