That’s squeaky feeling is so good for type 4 low porosity hair. Your hair cannot look it’s best if it’s full of products and oils/ buildup. It’s so easy to get buildup with low porosity hair. It’s gonna weigh it down, make it dull, and many other things.
While everyone is different. I have high porosity and had the most positive change when I started using light sulfate shampoos. I learned/found one that isnt that drying (like moisturizing shampoo with tea tree ) but I learned the necessity of giving hair a “CLEAN SLATE” so it can re-absorb without build up.
@@elielerilibe1340 sulfates are your friend. You don’t have to use a shampoo with sulfates every single week but you should deeply cleanse your hair at least once a month. Stretched styles (braid outs, twist outs..) are good to prevent single strand knots. Routine routine routine. And with products, you’re gonna have to do trial and error for yourself. Moisturizing with heat or on hair with open cuticles from heat is best otherwise the products aren’t penetrating your hair.
@@iamkyn2000 be careful with what shampoo is used though. Not all of them are made the same. I used straight dr. Bronner's and was fine but pantene messed me up
One thing we have to realize is that we must clarify our hair as natural girls. So, yes if we use a clarifying shampoo, (which is something I try to do like once or twice a month) it will be stripped but that’s why you do a deep conditioning treatment and all of that after and make sure to oil your scalp and you’ll be fine.
The curl definition was everything. I am so frustrated with my natural hair rn because I don't know how to style it after rocking temporary dreadlocs for over 4 months. This video gave me some motivation
This camera quality is allowing me to see into her soul lol! Love this video and I'm probably going to have to use this product soon! Glad your curls are starting to come back to life!

You are literally the reason my hair is where it is today. Having the same hair texture as you made knowing how to care for my hair so much easier. Forever subscribed ❤️
Beautiful!!! Your hair looks so rejuvenated and shaped! I love that you never cut corners with your hair! You are a phenomenal queen ISI and I appreciate everything about you! Thank you for the video!
Guys remember everyone’s hair is different. So if your curls currently look like how hers did when it was damaged, but they’ve always looked like that, you have nothing to worry abt. Her hair wasn’t curling how it used to, and sometimes that’s a result of damage. And remember, HEAT DAMAGE ISNT ALWAYS STRAIGHT ENDS (coming from someone who’s currently going through some rough times with heat damage )

I’ve learned that us naturalistas use far too much product. Moknows hair said that when we twist/braid it shouldn’t look like cake batter in our hair lol. That’s most likely why you got some residue. I’ve been using less product recently and I realised that I didn’t need as much as I was using. I was just wasting product 💀
Sooo I went out and brought the texture treatment and curl definer and OH MY GOD, these products are AMAZING! Can’t wait to take these twists out and see how good my hair looks
Hey girl! Beautiful hair!! 🥰🥰 Don't forget to blot out the excess product with a t shirt.. That will help it dry quicker and help keep the flakes to a minimum. Stay beautiful and blessed 💜💜💯👸🏾🙏🏾
The conditioner reminds me of Estee Lauder's Youth Dew lol. The first time I used it, it made me think of my mom. It's probably one of her favorite hair products just because of the scent! I'm so happy your hair is back. I hated seeing you sad. It sucks when you know your hair is off even if other people still give you compliments.
Y'all, she really ain't lying about this being the easiest way to wash our Type 4 hair!! Isi put me on a few years ago. I like to shampoo my scalp while the conditioner is still in though. Using this method literally took the wash & detangle part of my wash day from almost 2 hours to just under 1 hour! 💕
@@maryanaking4743 By detangling my hair with the conditioner and plenty of water first, then twist it up. I love to use Texture ID 3x the Moisture Conditioner b/c it has great slip & I use the Felisha Leatherwood brush. Two Words: Aloe Vera!! Same effect for only $1.49! Use the gel directly from the plant, and moisturize thy hair! You can leave the gel in your hair, sans skin. Brilliant advice to wash hair while plaited/twisted; no need to detangle twice. 💃 There's a UA-camr who blend the entire plant, & moisturized her hair with it by leaving it on for awhile, then washed it out.
Im so glad i came across this vid. I too recently damaged my natural curls and was so distraught. I was just like im just chop ally hair off but im a try these stuff first.
