- Another very short trip away but I still managed to find a couple of hours to visit a new nature reserve for me in Lincolnshire. Snipe Dales turned out to be a very busy and productive couple of hours and certainly one I will be returning to soon. Check out the video to see what I find. Thanks Shannon, there where loads of them on this reserve, and was pleased to get some out in the open. On most occasions you just hear the males barking in the undergrowth.👍

Cheers mate! I think we are heading back to that area next month. Next week I am up to Aberdeen for a week so will be seeking out pine martin again, just couldn't leave it to the summer!!😂👍

lol, "Boy am I unfit" - Do not underestimate the effect of a heavy camera bag! At least that's what I tell myself anyway! Blame the camera bag!!!
Thanks Phil, I blame the bag as often as I can but will be getting back on the bike next week, deffo need to shed some pounds or switch to the Olympus OM system🤔😂
Some great shots there Scott, I went to snipe dales a few years back, managed to get a photo of the muntjack deer and a pair of woodcock saw roe deer but they were too far in the distance to get a good shot, did you see the semi wild horses ? Met up with one of the wardens there and he said the horses get fed but other than that they are left to roam
Thanks Phil, saw the horses from a distance but will seek them out next time. Really didn't explore much of the reserve as I kept getting stopped by animal encounters (which is always a good thing!) I don't think it will be long before we are heading back so will be doing some more exploration!👍
