  • Welcome to Tattershall Castle, a stunning medieval fortress nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire and maintained by the National Trust. In this video, we take you on a virtual tour of this impressive castle and explore its rich history, stunning architecture, and breathtaking views.
Labyrinth Mini Movies had the pleasure of filming Dr James Wright - a Buildings Archaeologist, and volunteers Nigel and Suzanne, as they talked about this amazing castle. Filmed and edited together by Labyrinth Mini Movies, this film now has pride of place inside the castle.
So join us as we wander through the castle's various rooms and learn about its many inhabitants over the centuries, from its origins as a stronghold for the powerful Lord Ralph Cromwell to its role as a Royalist stronghold during the English Civil War. We'll also take a closer look at the unique features that make Tattershall Castle such a special place, including its remarkable brickwork and impressive Great Tower.
Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a new adventure, Tattershall Castle is a must-see destination. So sit back, relax, and join us on this virtual journey through one of England's most fascinating and awe-inspiring castles. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button to stay tuned for more exciting content.
Watch this space as we are currently working on another video production with the National Trust, which will share what it's like as a young person working for the National Trust.
    Thanks are given to:
Dr James Wright - Buildings Archaeologist, Nigel Guilliatt - Volunteer, Suzanne Gordon - Volunteer.

I walk past it every day on the way to work. The way the National Trust are looking after it while also providing more and more details and discoveries is absolutely fantastic.
