When my ex dumped me she told me years ago when her friends broke up with their boyfriends she'd imagine losing me and feel paralyzed, the same feeling she had as a kid when she thought of what would happen if her brothers died. Now, she said, she imagines her brothers dead and doesn't feel as bad because she accepted death as the reality of life. The message she was trying to convey was that I could move on without her. That's kind of sick, it's not like one of us died loving the other and the other needs to accept it. I always imagined if this happened to one of us the other would die single always cherishing the memories, or at best find someone who knows and respects the fact that we found them because our deceased partner wanted us to be happy. Now she is alive and possibly in bed with someone else, a few months ago she used to imagine us in our 80s and make jokes about it.

I just want to say this works 100% and my case was tough ... makes sure you all come back and share your stories because when I was binge watching these videos during radio silence ( which is most effective I think ) everyday I was feeling anxious and these videos were they only thing that’s have me mental release until time kicked in . Reading nearly every comment gave me relief in knowing others were experiencing this too and then after a little over 30 days my ex contacted me ... then I couldn’t get too excited or angry or sad I had to keep calm sometimes the ex’s comeback prideful too or hurt too but show them you are not willing to play but also so more kindness than anger and wala we are back loving and appreciating each other...

Is there any chance me and my ex-girlfriend could get back together? Last month she asked for time apart as her feelings had slowly faded over the course of the last three months. After giving it some thought, I told her the fair thing to do would be to break up. Just wanted to leave an update to all. No contact worked !!! Took 5 months though. First 2 months I failed no contact every 2 weeks and eventually by finally stuck to no contact for 3 months and it worked. Binge watched these videos for the past few months. Wish you all luck, stick to no contact and use this time to better you self. Got my dream job, and lost 30 pounds.

Sorry to say that to you. But you parents advice is not a good advice on my eyes. It’s easy to them to talk like that. Often times they themselves had experience divorce (like my have) and they try to “save” your heart by talking BS like that. I think it’s WORTH to fight for the love. Break ups and divorces sucks and often times they happening because of the ego of at least on of the partners. I really want to thank Coach Lee for his videos. When my bf broke up with me it feels like everything was falling apart and watching these videos help me think it might not be the end for us. Even if the point isn't to make you hold on to him but to focus on yourself, just thinking about getting back with that person calm you down. And "conceiving" a plan to get him back actually help YOU get out of bed. Then days are going and you're feeling better day by day :) I truly believe my time of "grieving" would have been longer if I didn't come across Coach Lee's videos. So thank you SO SO much. Learn from my mistakes. My ex broke up with me and I did the begging and pleading routine that didn’t work at all. I kept in contact with her because I was afraid of losing her forever. I will send text messages and try calling. Most of the time she either ignore or replied with vague messages. I finally had to accept the fact that I had to move on. Because right now I was in a position of weakness. So I am doing the no contact method. I started taking up new hobbies and going to the gym to better health. I am even considering dating again. Time is too short and valuable. If someone doesn’t appreciate the time you given them then they are not worth keeping around. Remember you are more valuable and certainly the top prize. I learn this extremely important lesson from Coach Lee.
Rey, stay strong, no more contact. Even if she called u tomorrow to fix it, she ended it once and you can't take her back. Her respect is gone and that's just life. Just wanted to come back here and say that Coach Lee absolutely knows what he’s talking about. I thought I was never going to hear from my ex ever again. I followed the no contact rule anyway because I felt my ex didn’t deserve to hear from me or know how much I was hurting. To my surprise, my ex contacted me about 6 months post-breakup asking me to talk and to go for coffee. These videos truly brought me comfort during the hardest breakup I have ever had to go through. I used the no contact method after a recent split of a multi year relationship and my ex did come back trying to rekindle things. But he returned with the same issues and didn’t want to fix them so I continued on.

We learned our value, we learned what we are willing to do/invest, we learned how to fight properly, we learned how to deal with those irritations and ebbs and flows. Does the no contact work if I broke up with him? This is how I feel about it all. When you're with someone and you're doing nice things for them and you're freely and openly giving of your time, your energy, and your creativity and they can't appreciate those things, and want space or a break they've just shown you their value system. So don't feel bad about being good to them that's who you are. Here's the twist, if they do happen to come back around the first taste was free, the rest is going to cost them. Remember they showed you their value system so don't do all the work anymore, it has to be mutual. They're going to have to earn it now or you'll end up right back in the same scenario. Your time, your energy, your effort, your love, your attention, your money are all valuable. Don't waste spending these commodities on people who refuse to value them.

Curiosity must have been when she once called me to see if I ever got lonely; my answer was "No." There was no one with me at the time, talk about rejection I never meant to convey; I was, at the time, being honest, nor was there a brain with me because I'm a guy, nor did I think how hurt she might have been but a lot of these calls were about her, that she had had a panic attack; so she must have desired me back, problem was, she left which created the distance in the first place; I didn't throw her out nor did she have complaints and I gave her a hundred million reasons to pounce on (I have recently learned women file for divorce more so than men--that would have been nice to know, it is now impossible to unlearn, although I probably wouldn't have listened anyway, I've always been in another world when it comes to reality).
nenuhhS11 Yes, they do! My ex was a textbook narcissist, and he came back multiple times (or at least tried). Even after he had gotten into another relationship. The problem with narcissists is that its all a game to them & they are not capable & have no intention of giving you the relationship you want.

This gave me a tremendous amount of confidence, I’m doing no contact, and I feel a lot better about now. The way you explained it made me excited to do my own thing, and in a way hopefully make my Ex feel the pain I felt. I’m about two weeks into the break up it was mutual but I only agreed because I knew she didn’t want the relationship anymore, so technically I was dumped and I didn’t realize that until now. I’m actually move on quite fast amazingly, I do get moments of nostalgic sadness, but also happiness think about the fun times we had. @@TheAsh265 Update: I fell off the no contact wagon June 15th after going a solid two weeks. i reached out to exclaim that "I didn't want to be friends", because previously at the break up i told her we could be friends after we had our time apart, and that i would giver her a second chance... so after seeing some videos and reading about friendship after the break up, i decided i needed to swiftly and efficiently tell her, i did not want to be friends, and i also told her that " Im worth more than that" which i am, and she knows that. After sending that text it literally put my mentality back at square one, day 1 of no contact, and it was horrible, i needed to reach out to tell her that, but it messed me up and it made me want to text her back and say i didn't mean that... because i fucking care about her, and lover her, but right now i need to love myself and not give any fucks about her to put it harshly. If you take anything away from this, its that reaching out for any reason even if you think its justifiable, will set you back, i don't regret reaching out and telling her "No friendship" but shit its like falling down after being half way up the hill. If you want to talk more and even be accountability partners, assuming your doing no contact as well, PM on YT and we can talk more. My break up is more complex than what I've said here, and leads me to believe that i have a lower chance of getting her back, but i wont know until i actually shut up and don't say anything to her, she needs to understand my pain.

Do not beg or plead. Let them know you love them. But don't over do it. Admit to everything that is truthfully your fault. Tell them you are changing those things. Never argue. Be patient. Be kind.

His insight and easy to understand break-downs of how this whole thing works...I find it very comforting to listen to while I do house work, or relaxing. Stay positive!!! I was absolutely devastated after my ex broke up with me. She left me out of no where. Turned cold and I couldn’t believe it. I DID NOT chase or beg her. I never thought she would reach out to me since she was so cold. Well, 42 days later of STRICT NO CONTACT she called me telling me she missed me and apologized to me. We’re meeting up for drinks and to catch up. I honestly took the time of no contact to work on myself and to rebuild myself on all aspects of life, spiritually, financially, physically, mentally and most of all emotionally. When my ex dumped me she told me years ago when her friends broke up with their boyfriends she'd imagine losing me and feel paralyzed, the same feeling she had as a kid when she thought of what would happen if her brothers died. Now, she said, she imagines her brothers dead and doesn't feel as bad because she accepted death as the reality of life. The message she was trying to convey was that I could move on without her. That's kind of sick, it's not like one of us died loving the other and the other needs to accept it. I always imagined if this happened to one of us the other would die single always cherishing the memories, or at best find someone who knows and respects the fact that we found them because our deceased partner wanted us to be happy. I just want to say this works 100% and my case was tough ... makes sure you all come back and share your stories because when I was binge watching these videos during radio silence ( which is most effective I think ) everyday I was feeling anxious and these videos were they only thing that’s have me mental release until time kicked in . Reading nearly every comment gave me relief in knowing others were experiencing this too and then after a little over 30 days my ex contacted me ... then I couldn’t get too excited or angry or sad I had to keep calm sometimes the ex’s comeback prideful too or hurt too but show them you are not willing to play but also so more kindness than anger and wala we are back loving and appreciating each other...

Last month she asked for time apart as her feelings had slowly faded over the course of the last three months. After giving it some thought, I told her the fair thing to do would be to break up. She insisted that she actually didn’t want the break up, but that she felt nothing for me (she said she truly loved me, but didn’t have feelings). She gave it some thought and agree that the best thing to do was to break up. I contacted her 5 days after our breakup for answers but the quickly gave up. Two weeks after no contact she reached out to me and I waited 6 hours to reply to her. She responded immediatly and kept the conversation going until I had to stop her. I said I had to do something and offered to get lunch the next day. She agreed. A week after this she sent me a random text, to which I replied with a short message. She didn’t reply. It’s been a week and we haven’t contacted each other in any way.

I really want to thank Coach Lee for his videos. When my bf broke up with me it feels like everything was falling apart and watching these videos help me think it might not be the end for us. Even if the point isn't to make you hold on to him but to focus on yourself, just thinking about getting back with that person calm you down. And "conceiving" a plan to get him back actually help YOU get out of bed. Then days are going and you're feeling better day by day :)

Learn from my mistakes. My ex broke up with me and I did the begging and pleading routine that didn’t work at all. I kept in contact with her because I was afraid of losing her forever. I will send text messages and try calling. Most of the time she either ignore or replied with vague messages. I finally had to accept the fact that I had to move on. Because right now I was in a position of weakness. So I am doing the no contact method. I started taking up new hobbies and going to the gym to better health. I am even considering dating again. Time is too short and valuable. If someone doesn’t appreciate the time you given them then they are not worth keeping around. Remember you are more valuable and certainly the top prize. I learn this extremely important lesson from Coach Lee.

Just wanted to come back here and say that Coach Lee absolutely knows what he’s talking about. I thought I was never going to hear from my ex ever again. I followed the no contact rule anyway because I felt my ex didn’t deserve to hear from me or know how much I was hurting. We had the first month with very little contact, maybe 3 messages traded.. 1 month no contact.. and then I reached back, we traded 6 messages, the last one I sent was more casual just like you said! I decided to play cool, send emojis, smile... She was doing that so I thought I'd do the same, portray a persona that is completely ok with what happened. Some nights I remember she saying she was sad at first but now she can "look at our past and smile".. that hurts a lot to listen..godammed it! Wel.. I'll stop texting/answering, it makes sense. We learned our value, we learned what we are willing to do/invest, we learned how to fight properly, we learned how to deal with those irritations and ebbs and flows. We are doing great, and proud of ourselves.

Does the no contact work if I broke up with him? I broke up with him because we were fighting over everything all the time, and he got mad at me for the dumbest reasons most of the time, I was getting tired, I never stopped loving him, but I was mentally sick, and I had to think of my self care first so we could be happy in the future.
I even told him, don't think I'm leaving because i stopped loving your or because there's someone else, it's not like that, I just need to recover from too much toxicity, and maybe in the future when we're okay again, we can get back, but he doesn't wanna see me, he's really mad, he even said we have mo future 😪
This is how I feel about it all. When you're with someone and you're doing nice things for them and you're freely and openly giving of your time, your energy, and your creativity and they can't appreciate those things, and want space or a break they've just shown you their value system. So don't feel bad about being good to them that's who you are. Here's the twist, if they do happen to come back around the first taste was free, the rest is going to cost them. Remember they showed you their value system so don't do all the work anymore, it has to be mutual. They're going to have to earn it now or you'll end up right back in the same scenario. Your time, your energy, your effort, your love, your attention, your money are all valuable. Don't waste spending these commodities on people who refuse to value them.
This is why I've recently ended a friendship. I cared too much and got nothing in return.

nenuhhS11 Yes, they do! My ex was a textbook narcissist, and he came back multiple times (or at least tried). Even after he had gotten into another relationship. The problem with narcissists is that its all a game to them & they are not capable & have no intention of giving you the relationship you want.

This gave me a tremendous amount of confidence, I’m doing no contact, and I feel a lot better about now. The way you explained it made me excited to do my own thing, and in a way hopefully make my Ex feel the pain I felt. I’m about two weeks into the break up it was mutual but I only agreed because I knew she didn’t want the relationship anymore, so technically I was dumped and I didn’t realize that until now. I’m actually move on quite fast amazingly, I do get moments of nostalgic sadness, but also happiness think about the fun times we had. You hit some important points that I will definitely use: “act casual and make them think your doing great” I think that’s is simple but so important. Thanks Coach.

@@TheAsh265 Update: I fell off the no contact wagon June 15th after going a solid two weeks. i reached out to exclaim that "I didn't want to be friends", because previously at the break up i told her we could be friends after we had our time apart, and that i would giver her a second chance... so after seeing some videos and reading about friendship after the break up, i decided i needed to swiftly and efficiently tell her, i did not want to be friends, and i also told her that " Im worth more than that" which i am, and she knows that. After sending that text it literally put my mentality back at square one, day 1 of no contact, and it was horrible, i needed to reach out to tell her that, but it messed me up and it made me want to text her back and say i didn't mean that... because i fucking care about her, and lover her, but right now i need to love myself and not give any fucks about her to put it harshly.
If you take anything away from this, its that reaching out for any reason even if you think its justifiable, will set you back, i don't regret reaching out and telling her "No friendship" but shit its like falling down after being half way up the hill.

My break up is more complex than what I've said here, and leads me to believe that i have a lower chance of getting her back, but i wont know until i actually shut up and don't say anything to her, she needs to understand my pain.

I was absolutely devastated after my ex broke up with me. She left me out of no where. Turned cold and I couldn’t believe it. I DID NOT chase or beg her. I never thought she would reach out to me since she was so cold. Well, 42 days later of STRICT NO CONTACT she called me telling me she missed me and apologized to me. We’re meeting up for drinks and to catch up. I honestly took the time of no contact to work on myself and to rebuild myself on all aspects of life, spiritually, financially, physically, mentally and most of all emotionally.
