Finding art inspiration in daily life | Relaxing ASMR watercolor painting + drawing

Relax with me as I sketch and paint through some rose-inspired art! Plein air and I still have some kinks to work out. Namely, how do I draw or paint anything when I'm squinting through the reflected glare from the sun and sneezing up a storm in the shade. So my visit to the rose garden didn't turn out to be the afternoon of art I was hoping for. But roses are still roses - all varying degrees of pretty, aloof, coy - and I managed to snag reels of gorgeous footage. From there came the inspiration for everything you see in the video.

Thanks so much Pat! ❤ the more I paint the more I'm realizing that it's largely about believing in your own process. The difference between when I'm insecure and nervous about ruining the art, and when I've convinced myself I'm going to nail it is massive. Half the battle is finding that right headspace, I think. The other half is just repetition repetition :) tldr; you got this!
