    So much to learn. I'm loving aloe Vera even more now

    I have tried drying aloe vera and then making my oil just like you do. Then you don't need any preservative cos there's no water content. I'm in South Africa so in summer I thinly slice the aloe and sundry (usually 2-4 days) and then blend to a powder. It doesn't have to be very fine. I add to my oil and leave to infuse for a few weeks. I work on 1 tbs per cup of oil. Sometimes I add dried hibiscus as well

    I usually rub it straight into my scalp and try to tolerate the itching. I had no idea that the yellow stuff was latex which I'm allergic to. It all makes sense now. Thanks so much for sharing this information.

    • @lionessma8762
      @lionessma8762 4 роки тому +9

      Wow, me too. I knew you had to soak it to remove the yellow substance but had no idea that that substance was latex. Sometimes I skip the soaking ending up with a reaction, and well just like you said 'it all makes sense now'.

    This is the second video that shows how to use aloe correctly. Being from the caribbean it's tiring to see this aloe trend and no one is showing first time users how to PROPERLY use the plant for their hair, skin and digestive system.

    Thank you for sharing. I've seen some other UA-camrs heat the aloe vera gel in a pot with certain oils and followed suit. I won't be doing that, again. Recently, I blended and strained an aloe vera gel/plant, put it in a spray bottle, and stored it in the fridge.

  • @dreamyx01
    @dreamyx01 3 роки тому +1

    I blended and strained and still got some flakes. I freeze it in a cute silicone mold that looks like little flowers it's easy to pop out. I take out three cubes to let it melt before I put it in my hair. I'll take a cube and rub it on my face. Going to try the cold pressed oil just need some citric acid.

    Is there an alternative for the citric acid that I don't have at the moment? And how long is its shelf life if I do not add any? Thank you so much; In love with all your content :)

    Thank u so much for the Aloe Vera cold process oil hack!! I’ve been doing it on the stove all this time. Can I use orange essential oil if I don’t have citric acid?

    Debbi I hope all is well with you. I have been following your rice water and onion treatment and it is doing wonders for my hair. I do have a question. I want to know can you use the rice water with the onion and than wash hair with the aloe vera shampoo you showed us how to make?

      Itchy scalp with hair loss is a symptom of something else going on. There is definitely an imbalance within your body. Please send me an email to discuss this further.❤️

    Great video first of all. Do you leave the oil in the hair w/o washing it out? I don't have the citrus will that make a difference? I've been breaking of the leave off my aloe plant and putting it directly on my face for years.
