I have cp and I have the reflex too. I recently scolded my leg when allowed bang went off that I wasn’t expecting. I have some pain in my joints that are now worn out from arthritis and I haven’t been able to walk for more than half my life now. However, I think surgeries are improving for younger people with CP so that they don’t get as much damage from things like scoliosis and hip dysplasia , also wheelchairs on so much more designed to preserve the best possible posture. Even though I have pain a lot now, I wouldn’t change some of the activities I did that wore out my joints because they gave me so many good memories. I only hope that people don’t see wheelchairs is such a bad thing these days. When I was a child 35 years ago it was considered the worst possible thing to let your child with CP go into a wheelchair. As a result of us kids kind of got worn out dragging ourselves around on various walking aids and so forth. I would like to see Better medical care worldwide and understanding for adults in general with CP. I never thought this in my fourth decade I would’ve lost so much function that I work sohard to gain.
We are similar in age and mine is due to infection as I chronic kidney disease. Also thank you for the comment. I hope you subscribe and if you have any other feedback, please feel free to communicate with me if you have ideas for me to let me know thank you again for your feedback and, comment of the channel
