@kathrynmcgarry309: Can’t tell if you’re coming at this from an anti-appropriation angle or suspicious practitioner of Abrahamic faith angle but in either case, the aspects of yoga practice which are helpful for improving prefrontal cortex and motor nerve function and working with neuroplasticity after an injury are not the spiritual practices associated with it. If somebody said prostrations, bowing, kneeling, or practicing the “crossing-yourself” motion might help rehabilitate a body part after an injury, nobody would have a problem. :)
Is this "fast track approach" suitable for retained primitive reflexes in general, or only if they resurface due to trauma, having previuously been fully integrated?

as far as i understand it, this is just session 1 of multiple to train/stimulate the brain into using the correct reflex (or suppressing the reflex). so it's a temporary state in this video and would likely regress if the patient stopped treatment before it was fully resolved. there's nothing wrong with the body, it's the brain getting confused and using the wrong set of reflexes. he's just reminding the brain to use the other 1. you just have to keep reminding it until the underlying problem goes away (like inflammation) or it rebuilds the pathway to the correct reflexes with all the stimulation
