I love these videos where you review these just gorgeous examples of early automotive history. Cars like these are not shared nearly enough on automotive UA-cam channels. Thank you for the fun video, Elliott! It was so cool seeing you get to drive the V8 Ford!
"By the way they said I was allowed to touch the cars" - edited out.... "Hey you, get away from there! SECURITY!!!" Haha. So cool you got to drive that 32 Ford!! Oldest car I've driven was something from the 1950's....when I was working at an airport parking lot in Boston back in the 1980's.

VERY well done, Elliott! We are proud of you! The 32 had quite a few other changes from the 31, as you know. Beefier frame, slightly smaller wheels but bigger rubber, fuel tank in the rear, thus fuel pump on motor, bigger headlights, 3-spoke steering wheel, gauges in dash, etc. It is like SO close to being a "real car" that it makes our Model A's look more like horseless carriages
Thank you so much Paul! I had a feeling you’d love this one. I know there are more differences between the 31 and 32, I was just keeping it simple for the sake of entertainment. I’m not trying to encroach on your Model A territory! 😂. Thanks for watching man.
@@ElliottAlvis Ha ha! You're the MAN! Still very impressed with your opportunity here and blown away by that breathtaking car. You did just fine! The 32 was such a leap in advancement over the Model A, glad you got to experience one. BTW, Tyler's contribution in the comments here was hilarious!
What a fun, fascinating and informative tour of all those amazing cars, Elliott! Your admiration and knowledge of the older autos really comes through. Loved your honest enthusiasm and energy. Congrats again on being asked to be part of such a wonderful event. You kicked butt!

11:02 Elliott, that 1907 Runabout is the coolest thing. What an amazing opportunity to see a such a well preserved piece of history in your area of passion. I love seeing old tech. This was a treat. Thanks for covering it.
My dad's first car was a 38 Lincoln Zephyr. Last year for mechanical brakes. When you stomped on the brakes on a wet street, you never knew which way you were going to go.
I had the last year for the flathead V8, a 53 F-100. It was a fun truck to drive in the winter, the 'high output' heater would defog about an inch of the windshield
The really cool thing about the 32 ford V8, was that it had many of the the features of higher end car at a price ordinary working people could afford!
What a privilege! Driving the Ford roadster. Wow! That 32 Chrysler at the start was stunning! Strangely it reminded me of the Morgan Aero8 GT we featured a while back... The Morgan is like a flattened modernised version of the design from that era. But that Diablo 😍
I enjoy the variety of your videos . I followed you after you did a review of a Prius. That video was humorous and actually made a Prius interesting . Just to keep in mind, maybe others might feel the same. I like when you cover cars that the average guy can afford. Most of us can’t afford Lambos and Lamborghinis. Those vids are fun too, but the regular cars can be interesting with the knowledge you impart. I remember Hoovie doing a vid about a supercharged Park Avenue . Cars that the regular guy can afford are good vids as well. I enjoy the humor in your vids and the extensive knowledge you have
Elliott the 1932 Ford frame follows the body lines, while the Model A had a straight rectangular frame. That is why Hot Rod guys always install a 32 frame on there Model A.
I wasn't expecting this but it was awesome, beautiful cars, I find older stuff so much more exciting than modern 'exotics' especially if they require some skill and a deft touch to handle properly. Well done!
Car manufacturers really need to do more throwbacks. I know the Prowler was a shot, but come on the sweeping lines, the chrome. Sure they would probably crumbled in a wreck, but at least we have modern safety equipment that could help.
I love watching your channel. You are very open minded and honest. Keep up the good work and I just watched a channel that they bashed a 1997 m3. I got a 69 jaguar that me and my father restored and a 94 325 that I am going to turn I to a vintage race car. Again keep up the good work. 👍

Those were some amazing pieces of history. Gotta say you have much better taste than Hoovie, he'd have been running around looking for some bland 15 year old silver Mercedes or BMW to dry hump. But you have class. 😁
Duesenbergs are ridiculous, 94mph in second gear, 100+ mph even with the naturally aspirated ones, 130+ with the supercharged ones, at a time when the typical family car would struggle to get up to 60mph, maybe 65 downhill with a tailwind. And that Cord was originally developed as an entry-level baby Duesenberg, before E.L. Cord, the head of Duesenberg's parent company, decided to shift it to his namesake brand instead, August Duesenberg was involved in its development
Also just noticed my dumbass phone auto filled experience instead of expensive lol but yeah why they doing that for. Your gonna crash that classic flat head 😂
The whole point of the 57 Chevrolet model year was they used Cadillac styling cues on their consumer model, I guess Ford had gotten a leg up on them sales wise and that was their (successful) attempt to claw their way back up to number #1 .. Ford had the name, Chevy had the marketing and Chrysler had the engineers
Why does that man keep following you around? He reminds me of you your dad, but I’m not sure why. I bet that soon a beautiful woman and her lovely daughter will be there, too!
