Car stories are so cool. The most fascinating and gripping ones are the stories about the forgotten legend that's tucked away in some barn. Those stories make me bite my lip and wanna scream at those people, "how did you not know!?" But this story was lovely and granted me a smile the whole time.
I love how one mans entire gearhead passion is put into one machine, it's not pretty and painted like a "trailer queen", it's got some natural patina simply due to time and adrenaline-filled activities, yet you can tell it's been well taken care of. *And it's mechanics are so simple it's obvious what everything does, however those simple gears and mechanisms were perfectly tuned through experience to all work together in harmony. That may sound corny to some, but this hot rod looks so organic to me, it's a perfect example of an American Hot Rod.*
I have just finished watching a few of your videos in a row, love how you often touch on the story and history and significance of the car, not just the specs. In my opinion it makes me connect to the car a lot more, like how my car means a lot because of my memories with it, I now know the memories behind this car, and can see its value more! This car keeps its history and the soul of its owner alive, even now that he has passed, and it is great to see that its new owner takes pride in the story, and does not mod it further and ruin what it represents.
Wow! 200 mph in that death trap! That's amazing! I did some research and learned that after spinning out at that speed, Mr. Kukura wisely elected to call it a day, and that this car is for sale. Were I in a position to buy this car, I would keep it exactly as its creator left it
+catlee8064 Hear hear, this is a proper man-mobile. I would love to own the 32 one day... A car like that should be out for everybody to see. Happy the car is in good hands. If the 32 could only talk..........

200mph in THAT?! That takes guts along with spinning out while on full throttle, I'd be terrified

One of the best hot rod stories I’ve heard. Looks like the car went to a good guy. Not locked away in some private collection. Thank you.
