What does O.O.P.S. stand for? It stands for Outstanding Opportunities Presenting Suddenly.
Those “failures” and “mistakes” that we so harshly criticized ourselves about actually became true gifts as soon as you start saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly!
I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

Steps are treads. "Tread where you have the courage to step." You had the riser correct. And what a wonderful, very "you" project. Kudos.

Really love this idea - I too have a set of stairs going down to my studio and they sure are not so pretty. I may just steal this idea and do the same thing this summer, when I can open all the windows and air my house out. Thanks

I lovvvvve these steps... I just found your channel and i love your personality and your art room and just everything in there. I have rainbowitis just like jane davenport and amy tangerine and it looks like you do too... Ive heard lots of great tips from just a few videos ive watched of yours. I had to sunscribe and hit the bell of course im gonna need to seriously binge watch your videos.. If i get annoying with comments on old videos i appologize in advance.. Lol 😂...

What a lovely video! I love your stairs, and the gallery walls on either side. So much colourful goodness! Thanks for the handy tips too, we've been thinking of painting our stairs, and wouldn't have thought of doing every other step so you can still get up and down while the paint is still wet!

The good news is that I had already picked out five colors -- the bad news is that NONE of them are floor paint. Ok -- I guess it's time to get the correct paint. (SIGH....) A dear friend of mine did a similar project with her grandchildren. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cheerful stairs to her basement! I just wish I'd seen this video before I bought the first batch of paint. LOL!

I love all the colors and the quote is a great one! Thank you for the tips! I have some basement stairs that have the old shag carpeting on them that would be perfect for painting after I get the carpet off. Did you seal them with anything?
