I was at a record store in Fort Worth and the guy at the counter threw this album in for free the Sleeve was bent real bad from one corner but the disc was fine. I played it and I loved it. I find out later the guy who owns the record store currently drums for Saint Vitus

One of the best metal albums ever. Just got Wino's autograph on an Obsessed album in the mail today. God, this brings back memories. 80's metal days. Black leather jacket, black eye liner, and a big ol chip on my 15 yr old shoulder, lol. That was me. Met Cliff Burton the year this came out...or maybe that was 85...either way 1985-86 was a good time. Great memories from a simpler time with a killer soundtrack!
My best band on this planet was BLACK SABBATH, and come band like SAINT VITUS, CELTIC FROST, HELLHAMMER and much other bands...(i was 54years old). Mike Dean (CORROSION of CONFORMITY) was totaly fan ....and i m was fan....(im was an old MANAGER From à HC Band : 2lps-3 tapes in 1988/1989. This heavy album deeply influenced me and my musical tastes. After Wino left Saint Vitus I became a huge Obsessed Fan. The entire Doom genre grew because of this band and this important album.

Those 3 tracks aren't originally from this album, they're from an obscure out of print ep called "Thirsty and Miserable" and were released as bonus tracks on the cd reissue of Born Too Late. By the way, I also started listening to metal with black sabbath and saint vitus, they're badass!!! And if you like this I would also recommend pentagram.
TheXBRGUY seems like you are more into doom metal, you should listen to Candlemass, Trouble or Pentagram. All bands that have been influenced by Black Sabbath.
