I was recently having a discussion with a friend about how incredibly rare it is to find solid DS anymore. I've taken to starting my own project due to the lack of creative and entertaining projects within the genre. This, however, is a breath of fresh air! Absolutely excited about being able to enjoy something new again! I worship your sound!
So you just agreed together about your tastes, not about what is or isn't. Or I can just say that your statement is false because I think the contrary. There's a whole lot of solid Dungeon Synth, just not the ones you like.
@@xuan-huyauxietre9330 I suppose you're right, I should have made clear that this is just my personal view. I don't know what classifies as "solid" to you though. There's certainly is a lot of DS these days, but not much of it stands out to me anymore. So I disagree with your statement "There's a whole lot of solid Dungeon Synth".
@@blainhanlon1558 but there is! i dont understand what you are looking for. there is almost a 30 year catalogue at this point and albums are being made at an unbelievable rate today, so yeah there will be some contrived stuff but its atmospheric music, that in itself means its cant be something we enjoy all day everyday, you have to take breaks, you have to be in the mood, its literally a fantasy of emotions that stir every individual differently, sure some have a better vision than others, but everyone slowly moving towards the fantastic imagination of dungeon-synth is not a detriment.
so make your own, show us what you think is good, but it is not rare to find "solid DS", there are more gems in this genre than any other in my humble opinion.
Do you have any DS band recommendations I should check out? In the same boat with ya
Liked and subscribed!
great work
Solid album friend
ok keep going
My man. Do you actually also compose videogame music?
I'm still only months into this, so I haven't yet. Could be cool to do!
@@worrystone How do you learn to do this stuff? Could you possibly offer a starting point?
@@SpeaksYourWord I've been at other aspects of music for years, so that helps me. But for this you can choose a DAW, and start learning it. Just be curious and spend time watching UA-cam vids anytime you have a question! $20 keyboard or midi keyboard plus DAW VSTs go far. Don't just learn one type of music, learn anything you like and it will add to your sound. Trust your ear over what is supposed to be good. I think that's a start.
@@worrystone thank you that's what I needed
you my man are a musician, through and through@@worrystone
