    I just bought a 2007 Audi TT with a 2.0 TFSI engine. 200 HP. Will report back in a few months or years.

      2 months in.
      - The car handles amazing on the road
      - Instruments work fine so far
      - The gearbox. Dear, oh dear. The DSG started to get hissy after about a week. On warm engine I couldn't start moving smoothly (from a standstill) - car would hop like a kangaroo. Cost me quite a bit to repair, but now it's as smooth as it can get.
      - Engine is a beast. Even for a 200 HP ride it picks up the pace really nice. I have a mysterious ABT Tuning Corp. logo on the back of the car, even though the car is supposedly vanilla.

    I have a misano red Audi TT 8J 2.0 from 2006 since 2015 and I love this car. If you want to buy it, buy it as a manual. It's really fun to drive. My Cupra Ateca has more Power but man this Audi is a Sportcoupe. And it drives like that!

    I have the older model, and I LOVE it. The TT Quattro is really a fun car to own and drive and the gas mileage is quite astonashing.. 5 stars from Texas

      me too the Mk1 2006 225hp fast as I want a car and handles like it is on rails, quattro 6 speed manual, reliable as hell, I love it

    I definitely am concerned that Top Gear is significantly better than this show. But the car in fact is just amazing. To be honest the old TT was the only audi since single frame grilles appeared which didn't appeal to me. Now it's over for sure! Astonishing!

    exactly like how everyone raves about the ford gt but the wheels are german, the brakes are italian, the gearbox is british, the body is british, and the steering comes from an Aston martin Vanquish(british), and the chasis was set up by lotus(british/malaysian)....americas best car is as american as the national anthem (which is british by the way)

    2005 Kawasaki ZX-10r, Used $8,000. 0 - 60 in 3.1 sec. Top speed with pwr commander and full pipe, 197mph. Blah, spend your thousands get American and European cars to barely break a 4.5 0 - 60. I'll stick the two wheels. And BTW, the new Audi TT is far nicer than any American sports-car (of the same price) this year. Cheers!

    that thing seriously looks nice. That last shot of the car is just great. I saw one the other day driving, but it was a dark gray. And everyone on the side walks and in the cars next to me where turning there heads.
    Great car.

    i HAVE A 2003 132 kw TT and it is a beautifully built car that does everything I ask and gives great fuel economy too. It understeers and therefore if you need pointability then you won't be completely happy. But I am and I have a clubman as well. I drove the new TT and it has too light steering and you prefer the new look or don't. interior less classic. But hey...if you buy the new one, it goes better and if you never had the old you'll be impressed. To beat them you have to spend a lot more.

  • @footballgeorgiebest
    @footballgeorgiebest 17 років тому

    I ordered mine last November and collected it last week. I don't know if anyone else had this problem but I found it hard to decide upon the interior colour. I wanted the Phantom Black but the cream interior with carpets was too easy to dirty imo. I didn't like the chav Red, so I ordered Cream with black carpet and they made it happen. sweet for Audi to do that.

    My Mazda 3 had broke. down 3 times in 2.5 years, which was enough, so I sold it.
    Nissans are currently made to last 5 - 6 years. I'd take Mitsubishi or Toyota. Although I heard a lot of bad things about Toyota recently too.

    shark260486, I tested it yesterday; I am 1.90m and had lots of space left, so 2.00m should not be any problem. Great car! DSG is awesome, very well made.

    Most cars Audi makes are available with Quattro. Yes, there are FWD versions of the TT, A3, and A4, but you can also get them in Quattro. Otherwise for the USA market, all other Audi cars have Quattro standard.

    You should know, the audi tt actually has a better interior than the R8. I litterally steped out of the R8 into the new TT, and it was clearly better. the R8 is a blend of old and new design, but its clearly up to the buyer to crankup for x-tra options to get it up to speed. and unfortunately it looks like a watered down version of its concept predicesors. the tt though just works, but i wish it didnt get bigger. its lost its sexy edge.

  • @SgtH3nry3
    @SgtH3nry3 18 років тому

    350Z might be nice in the corners when driving very careful, but too far and you'll loose the rear and your rear tires.
    Audi's have superiour traction control, you can brake, accelerate, clutch-kick whatever you want in the corners.
    The car won't spin at all.

  • @KaosIndustries

    I nabbed a 2002 TT last year for 20k AUD, bargain!
    2002(8N) TT Quattro, 6 speed, originally the 225 hp model but custom ECU bumps it to 195kW (265hp) and anyone that's driven it as well as other TT's says it feels like a different car.
    Plenty more to like about it, the body looks low but has a lot more clearance than people realize. I've even taken it out in the dirt and mud and slid around for a bit of fun, not many coupes you can do that with.
    That being said, I don't like the new TT...

    I couldnt tell you the 0 - 100. But i own a 2.0T TT. I've driven the 3.2 TT and have to say it makes a better noise. Having said that Im not sure that the extra cash is warranted for the V6 because it doesnt feel that much faster. However it does have 4 wheel drive so if you want an extra 50 bhp and better traction in the rain then go for the V6.

    RWD is very hard to drive at the limit- it's called oversteer. In the hands of a normal driver with AWD, the AWD car would beat the RWD car hands down. In the hands of a pro, skilled driver, the RWD car would most likely always win.

    German POS? You were the one that seemed to like BMW in the beginning. People also buy Audis knowing what they want. Heard of Quattro? I know quite a few people who wouldn't have anything BUT an Audi because of Quattro, top notch interiors, and driving excitement. All three of those are things Lexus CANNOT match.

    You're contradicting yourself on so many levels. All German cars are expensive to maintain. Audi, BMW, VW, it doesn't matter. The new M3 weights 3700 pounds. I don't see you complaining. Most all modern cars are overweight in some way- It's called safety regulations. In the hands of a regular driver, the RS4 would beat the M3 on the track. You have to be skilled to achieve the M3's best times.

When Fifth Gear stop trying to copy Top Gear they could well have something. That said this guy doesn't have much credibility and therefore probably shouldn't be doing it.
