My personal theory (hope) is that Megumi does the last little hit on the shikigami and steals it from Sukuna.

In regards to Sukuna’s connection to Tsumiki-I think Sukuna may end using her as blackmail or perhaps as a incentive for Fushiguro helping to revive him. I don’t know if this has been said before, but it’s the only way I could see Megumi agreeing to help Sukuna in any capacity!

About the flag, after having a conversation with you Steady last week I went to search on internet thinking to find out something about Time Vessel Assassination. Then I found out that the flag could be a reference to the table game named Go (囲碁 in Japanese and 围棋 in Chinese). I think the flag could be a connection with the game because the center point of the checkerboard is 天元(Tengen)! It could be the origin of Tengen sama!

Wow this is a solid theory , it makes me think and I could definitely be wrong even by this weeks chapter but I assume mahito end is near and I believe geto isn’t himself and allowed whatever curse to gain access to his body assuming this would be sukuna plan. Also assuming geto is the final final Gillian
It wouldn’t be out of getos mindset to use these curses to wreak havoc then double cross them and instead use the treasures to revive himself. It could either be a situation where he is kinda locked inside whatever curse is controlling him and with certain conditions he could come out and complete his plan or he wil have sukuna full power / the brain curse destroy everything until he is ready to go with his plan

Maybe the 10th is just the result of combining all nine? Like you don’t need a 10th piece, it’s just formed when all the others come together so the user would not only have to gather all nine but “give them up” in a way in order to summon it.
The rules are passed down. Gojo mentions something similar about his limitless technique too
Maybe the Shikigami for the jewel of revival is tied to the ability to use reverse cursed energy or curse technique reversal? It might make sense, given how Fushiguro has been thinking about it in recent chapters, and how it seems Sukuna wants him to get stronger. Anyhow, if he figures out how to revive people I hope we could see Yusuke back, I miss him 😭

will the jewel of resuscitation appear if you combine the three other jewels? (2 dogs + snake)
will the third scarf appear if you combine the other two scarves? (nue + rabbit)

maybe if sukuna/yuuji is to absorb that giant entity, he will rise again
or if sukuan/yuuji defeat that entity, it may grant his wish to be revived,
or maybe drop something that can revive him

Hi, Ian! I thought the same thing at first. It’s indeed a piece of the puzzle that’s still unclear. However, I think as indicated in ch117, if Sukuna (someone not involved in the ritual) exorcises Mahoraga, the ritual becomes void. Effectively as if the ritual never happened and Mahoraga goes back into the arsenal (still untamed) and Fushiguro comes back to life. This is just my guess though. Thanks for coming by and watching! I wonder if Sukuna is somehow connected to Fushiguro's bloodline as a whole? Sukuna instantly knew that he could use Fushiguro once he did the "with these 8 treasures" line, meaning that he's wise to the 10 shadows technique. It's not too farfetched to say that Sukuna planned all this out. He died and preserved his body, meaning that he was planning to be revived at some point. He was also completely willing to let Yuji die before he had that fight with Fushiguro that gave him the hope of revival.

Good question! Perhaps it'll be a 10+1 super secret shikigami! The 1 extra one that unlocks some sort of hidden power once you have all 10? This is all conjecture though!

OMG I just discovered your channel and I am so happy I did! You remind me of my old days when I used to do so many theories for Naruto, lol.
Now, I'm new to Jujutsu Kaisen but I am very much sooo attracted by everything that happens there. I haven't been this invested in a story since Naruto ended, haha.
Now, regarding your theory, there are so many things to learn from here, heh. I barely finished reading the manga now, so I'd have to read it all over again to kinda get into the whole details.
However, what I think is that Sukuna and Megumi are related tho (in a way, not necessarily blood). Wasn't Sukuna human in the beginning, but he eventually became a curse? There are a lot of trains of thought here and hopefully I can explain them properly, but here it goes.
The fact that Sukuna is interested in Megumi means that ofc, he wants to be revived IN FLESH. His speech at the beginning that light feels better in flesh is a giveaway imo.
Second of all, his pattern when he takes over Yuji. Now, due to my Naruto obsession, I know that that pattern is used for Yang (Sun/Vitality) depiction. At first I thought it might be just a coincidence that it's like that (although anyone reading JJK can see inspirations from other shonen such as Naruto). But when I heard Sukuna saying that light feels better in flesh, I knew it right there. It confirmed my suspicion.
Now keeping that in mind, we know that Yang is the vitality aspect. But one would need Yin (shadow) to be whole/complete. Because Yin gives form (imagination applied to nothingness), Yang gives life (breathes life into form).
Now, what Sukuna misses is the Yin of it (The shadows) necessary to give him a body out of nothingness (imagination) so he can contain his yang (vitality) into it. So thus, he needs Megumi to do it.
But how would he know about it? Well, maybe because he, too, being a human, tried to be a Master of Shadows back in the day before turning himself into a curse (this is where I think the connection between the two comes). So that's how he was able to recognize in Fushiguro the techniques.
But leaves the question where did he acquire the Yang principle so that he became immortal? And why does he want the Yin now? Just for revival or to become some sort of absolute being that dominates both aspects?
So, so, so many questions.
But yeah these word my two cents anyway. :D

I dont think thatvis a good idea to have all treasures merged in one. We alredy know that when one of the forms dies it passes the cursed energy to the others, giving them more power, so then... Why not merge all in one from the beginig? There has to be something else than the tactical appeal of 10 different forms. My theory goes for something bad happening when all merge in one, being killing the user in some way, leaving the user leaving him with no cursed energy or something similar, there can be a pact to, maybe his sister is in coma so he can use the 10 treasures and if they merge his sister could die. There is a lot of misteries but we know that great power comes with great cost ( and responsibility).
