I like the fact that's the title is Gojo vs Makima so you except a crazy fight with some crazy techniques but at the end of the day, it's a psychological battle and i feel like it's actually close that what could possibily happen if both of them had to go one against the other.
Yes, totally agree, it has always bothered me how in this kind of versus a character's modus operandi is completely thrown away. Makima would never directly face Gojo in a battle to the death without first understanding his capabilities and have or previously develop an effective method of neutralizing him. I think that all of part one is an example of that, but if we have to reduce ourselves to thinking about a specific enemy, there is an specific kaiju-sized devil capable of devastating entire countries and killing more than a million people in 5 minutes and that after having been alive for only 26 seconds, was one-shotted by Makima despite both being more than 500km apart, simply because she was expecting its appearance and was prepared in advance to subjugate it.

Why are all these so in character? The "fight" made me feel like I was watching a death note inner monologue. This feels like a proper episode of a show I'd watch because of friend reccomendations and hype.
I think is due how they would actually act, since both are kinda strategist, Makima isnt someone that jump at another enemy until she have all the winning conditions and avoid unnecesary violence, and Gojo attitutde is enough to get under her skin but also she can get under his skin too, make it actually funny to watch each other arguing. I hope he made more lol.
