Hell YES, Plant is a badass!
I think this was filmed at a football stadium in Australia, maybe Sydney. The song is about the Viking invasion of the British Isles, and the singer, Robert Plant was famous for wearing the top of a groupie from the previous night. So his shirts were all flowery and were too small for him.
Robert Plant wrote this after they had toured Iceland- it was a homage to their hosts Viking heritage.
Love ❤️ led zeppelin great to see you both 🌹🌹🌹
Its about the Viking invasion of Iceland.
No. Sorry. It’s about the Viking invasion of ENGLAND over 1000 years ago. Google it. It was WRITTEN after Zeppelin did gig in Iceland.
@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588yes invasion of Britain!

I just discovered this channel today, and two things come to mind, their reactions are great and they seem like they really love each other and love doing these things together. Its refreshing and fun, keep the fun and the love guys!!!
"Our only goal will be the western shore".
They did it like it's easy...
That's not easy.
Edit.. It's about Vikings
"We come from the land of the ice and snow, with the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow."
Not psychedelic, hard rock/metal.
The song was used in at least these movies/TV shows: "Thor: Ragnarok", "Shrek the Third", "Life On Mars", "School of Rock". Maybe more that I've forgotten about.
It's about the Viking invasions of foreign lands. The verse, “How soft your fields so green, can whisper tales of gore, of how we calmed the tides of war, we are your overlords” suggest triumph and dominance, "fields of green" likely referring to the British Isles. Historically, Vikings started invading the islands around the 8th century CE.
The film footage is from a cricket stadium in Australia, but the sound is from a concert at The Forum (near Los Angeles) the same year.
... Woe, 52 years ago. Think about that, huh?
Haven't seen you in a while. Good reaction.
We knew how to have a good time back then. Miss those days.
Me too! 😢
Steph knows what's up!
That sound you hear is Robert Plant screaming in tune. That sound is coming from his mouth.
Led my top 3 band's. Plant, Page, Bohnam and John Paul best
Got me screaming in my backyard 🤣
It was also used in the movie Shrek
Love you guys!!! Thank you for reacting to the OGs!! xo
Yall need to see Kashmir celebration day video. They older but still great as ever. It's live
In their 60s
I def love their studio take vs the live. You get to better hear Bonzo's(bonham)drumming & Plants shreik vocals and ya...It's better captured in their Studio album.....but hope you both are doing well :)
Steph has her groove back
The scream is a viking war cry
Our only goal will be the Western shore. The Vikings (almost) conquered England as Zeppelin conquered America. Striking parallel's they most certainly chose on purpose lyrically.
Good vid love to see Steph n Jay where have ya been? lol.
Yeah I can tell you from personal experience that guitarist ain't no joke. He got some Dogs, which for fans of anagrams could be made into Gods. He got them both simultaneously at the same moment in time.
Girl you ain't seen nothing yet
Live version? C'mon
😂😂😂😂
