So many tech videos might as well be in a foreign language as it's impossible to understand their tech jargon but this video is excellent, straight to the point and it's easy to understand especially for those who are not tech savy and just starting to learn about home recording gear. Thank You for the video.
Thank you, great content.
Thank you so much sir for your packaged information.
Very well explained!
Excellent video.
thanks very clear explenation!
Thanks for this necessary content. Also do a video on insert port and cover the gear that can be used with it
I love this channel.
Excellent
Excellent. Thanks for explaining this feature.
Hey great video! Question: In a looping scenario, I would be connecting my guitar/bass to a small amp and running the phone/line output into the mixer from the amp. Do I need a DI-box or the hi-z button engaged in that scenario?
I'm waiting for his answer to this question.
Hi great info! What is the best option for live streaming as a DJ using rca output to quarter inch into Irig2. Is there a better way to get better sound quality? I've noticed my sound isn't as good as other DJs. Thanks again
Hi thanks for uploading this video , for live events i plug my guitar into an IRIG-HD, ( which plugs into an iPad ) and then I plug a cable from the Irig to the mixer , do I still use the High Z button ?
Should I connect my AT2020 mic to hi-z to record classical guitar? Thanks for all your videos.
No, this is only if you're connecting a 1/4" cable directly to an instrument with magnetic pickups. If you're using a microphone, you don't need this.
Question, if I'm going from my electric guitar through a Boss ME-80 Multi-Effects pedal, is my signal now a line level signal or should I still use Hi-Z. All plugs are 1/4" jacks connected to mono.
I am about to buy a Behringer UMC 204 HD as it meets all my necessary aspects. But I really am stuck on the Hi Z stuff!
Would you please let me know if there is any Hi Z provision in there?
Would be of great help, thanks already for the content.
Good
I have the Universal Audio Dream '65 Reverb Amp pedal... The out is with a 1/4" input... Should I use the Hi-Z button?
Please, what about folk guitars with pre-amp? should we use it?
Is it okay to use the hi-z button if the phantom is activated particularly in profx6v3 that only have 2 mic channel strips? Thanks. Great content.
Hi-z button applies only to 1/4” input.
Phantom power only goes to xlr input.
@@kettnercreative Thanks Jordan. 'appreciate your informative response.
QUESTION: Will Hi Z function have any effect on my acoustic guitar if im connecting acoustic guitar via wireless route such as Shure BLX14 Wireless Guitar System?
I believe the wireless system will do the impedance matching for you.
Why does my Yamaha ag06 take a drum machine into the guitar input but has no volume in the line input?
Weird it doesn’t sound blown out it actually sounds the cleanest with good volume. I must be doing something wrong unless the wires are switched?
Can you insert a typical guitar pedal between your Instrument and Hi Z input?
Yes you can.
Thanks. Does that imply most pedals have high impedance outputs? If so are there exceptions?
Among us video thumbnail lol
So if I am mic'ing a guitar amp I don't need to use high z.
Correct.
Me who thought it was a high pass filter with another name, and trying to turn it on,on my Dynamic mics
