Was using my rode interface but I will be switching to this for my k688. Thank you for the review, never knew this existed! I know my rode would be better but I'd like to have a dedicated interface for vocals and another for streaming/gaming. Plus the added micros are a big bonus too with a mute button as well

i really wish Fifine made a "balanced audio out" version of this mixer even if it were to be $80-$100, with separate left & right TRS balanced out ports for speakers/monitors and 2.5mm balanced out for IEMs, for SE/RCA gaming bros this is very good (you could also get the Klark mic booster for $45 to power more gain hungry mics).

I would love to see this compared to something like the GOXLR since it seems very inspired by it, while serving similar functions
I’m getting rid of my goxlr because they fired their staff that updates the software and I honestly want to give this combo a try
Honestly, I’d stick with the GoXLR. That’s a great product and they have plans to release an open source software that will probably prolong its life. It’s still a great mixer, regardless of if there is a support team
The GoXLR is 8 times more expensive, that’s not a comparison worth making
The pre-amps in this are not even close to the quality in the Go-xlr but this thing is Super cheap.

Anyways, do you think it’s worth it to use the xlr or should I use usb? If xlr I would probably get the fifine interface.

Because of your clear and concise delivery of your content (and this is only the second video I’ve seen of yours), and 2 (THE MAIN REASON) Because of the way you stopped and reacted to your son interrupting your recording. That was f*****g awesome. The way some of the younger generations are being brought up today is horrible. If anyone got anything out of this video, let it be to take time to give that little extra attention to your children, even if it is only a minute or two. Take care man. For $50 you can't go very wrong. I ordered one (black_ based on this very entertaining and informative video. We'll see how it goes in a dual-pc setup.

Look into the Steel Series Wireless products or the Astro products. Expensive, but effective. This is what I use for real time mic monitoring

Been looking at the Fifine SC3 on my aliexpress recommended list, and wondering if I should splurge on it to upgrade from my $40 Fifine USB mic. Thanks to your video I've decided to take the dive and buy BOTH the Fifine SC3 AND the Fifine K688! I'll keep you updated when I receive them and try both of them out!
K688 is great with only 1 issue (imo) and that is the fact that it picksup cable noise a lot (podcastage did a video about that)

I have the Fifine AM8 mic for streaming straight from the Xbox Series S. I'm considering buying this mixer to up my stream quality and really hope it works for my setup. I stream 100% from the Xbox (no laptop, no pc connected). I use a chromebook and/or my phone just to monitor the stream. Thank you for this video. Hopefully I can use this mixer on my xbox, it looks pretty fun and useful.

Okay so my question is I’m going to switch to IEMS earphones and this mixer will have the connection of the IEMS be closer to me then to put it in the back of the motherboard so the cable won’t reach where I sit because the cable is not long enough. Second part is if this device has a game audio so I can turn it up when it’s a 1v1 situation.

@@DarkenedCyrus In game chat. I have a decent PC that runs OBS etc. AASUS Cu4k30 external capture card with my Series X (on controller) and a Elgato DX XLR mic, and of course the Fifine. Let’s say I’m playing WARZONE solo’s everything works great. My voice is captured on stream as well as the in game audio but if I were to play with a squad, my teammates audio is not captured, and they cannot hear me. 🤷🏼♂️ I hope that makes sense.
