Don't search by the tone. Use the light and tune the sensitivity until it just comes on when you touch the red probe. It will be much easier to find the correct wire in a crowded box.
Wait so why did you connect the black hot wire to the negative on the tool? I would assume the neutral wire would go to negative and the black hot wire would go to positive 🤔
You can you a simple double AA battery…. Ive used a 9v battery when a tester wasnt available.. hell your drill battery would work perfect.. expensive tools are not needed..
Yes technically but you’re goal is to find the other end of the wires, trace where they go whether it’s to the light, breaker or another switch or receptacle the only problem w that is having you’re meter be able to reach from one end of your wires to the other which likely won’t happen when the other end is across the room from you
This Tip SUCKS!!!!!!! I’ve tried many techniques. Out of desperation I gave it a shot!!! If you happen to read the instructions, this tool is designed for up to 60Volts scenarios! I have no idea what goes up to 60Volts but I came across a tip that has flooooooooooree ME!!!!!! Simply use the tone maker from this kit. Not use your voltage tester wand!!! Do not use the one that comes with this kit. The results are FIRE!!!!! I’ve tried every gimmick in the book and u less you have schematics, color code, route…. Good Luck!!! This technique simply takes you to the general area! This new trick I learned from an other user on UA-cam, it’s a game changer!!!!! % accurate and exact to a

Can i use this tool for audio cables ? For finding stereo speakers wires
yes
Make sure you turn off the power 1st or you'll blow up the machine and possibly give yourself a electric sock. Pro tip from an electrician 😌
thanks,
Thanks sherlock, I wouldn't know otherwise. I made a mistake of not turning it off once and I literally died.
AC 120v Wiring; Black-Hot Side, White- Neutral, Bare- copper
Bell and battery to check de-energized conductors for continuity. Very easy to make with 9v and piezo.
Now when u do this is there power running to the wires
How do you do it with a multi meter
Wait so why did you connect the black hot wire to the negative on the tool? I would assume the neutral wire would go to negative and the black hot wire would go to positive 🤔
I love the probe and toner from Klein, I use one but for Ethernet cables
Pronounced” kah-Iine”, was confused who was clean?
Thanks 👍🏽
Actually it's pronounced kline.
Can you share the link where to buy the finder device?
Hi! Here is the link to get the Wire Tracer 🙏🏽: amzn.to/3Itbzg6
I usually send 240v to the circuit and see what pops
You can you a simple double AA battery…. Ive used a 9v battery when a tester wasnt available.. hell your drill battery would work perfect.. expensive tools are not needed..
Tone out lines like an old phone tech
Should’ve emphasized the power offf caption lol gonna get people killed 😂
Thank you for helping me trace my old wires!
Clean tools?
Do you even sparky bro?
That’s my fault
Klein is mine. If you were struggling with the pronunciation.
It's not as easy as this....
Yeah I own this and it doesn’t work well
If you pronounce Klein clean, then call a electrician
Couldnt u just use multimeter on ohm setting to check continuity

and a really, really long wire.
That thing jumps signal to other wires I had not good 😐
(Kline)*
I don’t understand what you did. Very confusing.
so he is going by the sound and not by the green light....
Very confusing no clue what yu did
Sorry for the confusion! Here is the full video : m.ua-cam.com/video/k90ejXHl52I/v-deo.html
I think the machine detects the continuity by sound, he is saying it sounds rough and the last cables it sounds pitch sound..
Pull all the wires apart in everything nearby then attach the tone maker and touch all the wires with the receiver.
Clean tools 😂
Just but a cheap continuity tester at hardware store or auto zone, maybe 10 bucks do same thing 🤔
If you can’t pronounce the of the brand then I can’t listen to anything else you’re saying
That's rich coming from someone who can't type properly. Grow up.
Thumbs down
Scattered wires and clean tools bwahahaha... please stop
Terrible explanation
