Just installed mine in 9 minutes total. Went right in and function checked perfectly. Cycled 5 rounds out back in my clearing pit. 100% like the video in my case. Easy operation. BIG improvement
Great video, one question, I’m trying to install the same charging handle and I noticed you never mentioned the lock in piece that the front part of the original handle locks into. Does that piece need to be slid to the side or does it not play a role with the new charging handle? Thanks
Well i figured it out. U have to lock the charging handle back, take ur armorers wrench and u can twist that locking piece out of the way, put the new handle in and the make sure to twist it back straight. Took me a couple minutes. Was nothing like this video lol
Yea he didnt have that piece it looked like. His charging handle was stuck in foregrip part. That piece kept mine from bein stuck in that piece. So idk y his was dif but i hope i could help some ppl out, cuz i was looking at it and then noticed that i had moved it a little off center, and then it hit me, just twist it
I run those forward to allow a more forward grip on the gun. I believe it allows me far more control over the gun and quicker follow up shots. I started running it that way right after I got my X95 and I’ve had a number of people are that it really does allow a better grip. Be cautious how far forward you run them though as you can get to close to the muzzle at a point.
Nice video bro👍🏽i have all the MA upgrades for my odg x95 & fde SAR as well. Also the gas port covers. I went with the dead air muzzle devices instead because imma have the sandman s and banish 223 on both of mine. Also have the galil 8.3” 762x39 waiting on tha dead air wolverine
I had a question... after installing this charging handle, I am experiencing some rubbing on the outside frame of the gun (where the metal of the handle contacts the polymer). This rubbing makes it a little more difficult to pull the handle back and shaves a tiny amount of polymer off. Will this eventually work itself out? Or is this a design flaw?
Been through 2 so far and had to send them both back due to this issue. I think it's a design flaw. A larger handle allows you to get farther from the rifle and apply more leverage when pulling back. This twists the guide block just enough to cause that sharp corner to bite and dig into the plastic. I also experienced rubbing on the rod in the exact same spots on both possibly from that initial twist causing the rod to bow inward.
@Arsenio Menendez I have not heard whether or not they will address the issue. I informed them what problems I personally was having and also stated what I believed the cause was. I was not sure if it was simply an isolated incident and don't want to tell someone how to run their company. Afterall, I'm just a regular guy and they do this stuff for a living. I actually ended up here searching for others who experienced the same problem. I could possibly take a dremel to that edge to round it off and maybe fix the issue, but I didn't want to eat the cost if it didn't work. I think a part should function right out of the box with no modifications, and I believe that this part suffers from a specific design flaw. It's a shame too because I really needed this to work.
I live in the horrible state of Massachusetts so my flash hider is pinned/welded on (i think), can the foreframe thing still come off without removing that?
Late to the party, but yes it’ll work if it’s the MA Compliment version. Was scared at first because I completely forgot about it, but the fore end comes off extremely easily following the same steps.
Do not get it’s because of the leverage and forces involved in charging the weapon. It takes great engineering to deal with it that iwi already worked out. I love the idea though, just need a better design.
😂😂I'm sorry I trying to figure out exactly what I'm looking at. Is this an airsoft gun or does it actually shoot bullets. Looks like a toy. And if it is indeed a real x95 then do a vid on how yours comes to look like that.

Glad the video helped!!
Enjoy the charging handle!!
I'm a cop and I'd totally have to do a double take on that. Well done sir
x 95 no orange tip on it. But yah it’s a well painted gun.
Does yours have play at the top like will move freely a few millimeters?
@@DK-hw6cc it has a small amount of movement. It has to be able you move a little.
How is the charging handle still running? Apparently you can have one of these on each side.
What kind of paint did you use . That thing is sweet 👍
This is a cerakote done by Viktor’s Legacy in Fairport, Ohio. They do fantastic Work.
@@HolosunAdam do you mind letting us know how much something like that cost... Thanks for the video
@@bkwil6078 it honestly depends on the gun, colors, designs, etc.
@@HolosunAdam yeah I have that same gun..... I'm just curious how much that gun cost to do... Even ballpark

J. P. Assuming I understand you correctly I don’t recall that being necessary as the folding charging handle doesn’t lock in like that.
Im running into the same issue

How is this holding up?
Just curious as to why you run the rail covers out? Never seen/heard that before

Sounds like you have some sweet setups!
Yup 👍🏽 indeed... have the manticore arms arclok pathfinder on the SAR so the suppressor will look integral under the rail
@@Muscleshark3104 that’s always a sweet look!

Kevin Sylvester toss me some pics or video at adam_sasa on Instagram or Adam Litke - Competitive Shooter on Facebook. That way I have a better idea.

Did Manticore Arms fixed the design flaw since last year?
@@mikem8145 i am assuming no, the Manticore arms charging handle is no longer available
I live in the horrible state of Massachusetts so my flash hider is pinned/welded on (i think), can the foreframe thing still come off without removing that?
It would depend on if the forend fits over it. Some are small enough that it doesn’t need to be removed.
Late to the party, but yes it’ll work if it’s the MA Compliment version. Was scared at first because I completely forgot about it, but the fore end comes off extremely easily following the same steps.
Serious Question: Would installing two charging handles cause any problems in an X95?
shortylickens69 no idea. Never considered it.
I have two in mine! You have to buy a special block that allows 2 charging handles. You can't just add a second one out of the box.
Ok thanks buddy
Do not get it’s because of the leverage and forces involved in charging the weapon. It takes great engineering to deal with it that iwi already worked out. I love the idea though, just need a better design.
Would you mind expanding on the issue? I have read that the force required to charge the x95 can bend the switchback charging handle.
