Hi guys, with so many requests for a direct link to the kit, here it is… PLEASE make sure you check your vehicle details against the item description!! I am NOT responsible for incorrectly ordered parts. 🤙🏻 www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/ramair-proram-induction-kit-for-vw-golf-mk7-platform-2-0-tdi-gtd.html
Just got the darkside turbo pipe and exact same filter so video is a massive help when I come to fit them! Got exact same Audi in white litterely just had a darkside dpf gutting and egr delete+tune, love it! Helpful video cheers🤟
Thank you mate. I ordered both Turbo inlet and proram kit from Darkside. All thanks to this video. Installed on my 2.0 TDI 190 Seat Ateca. Exact same set up and sounds so much more better than stock. Will be getting Stage 1 map with dyno soon. And hopefully push atleast 250bhp.
250 with dpf and egr still in isn't possible. Unless you already have them out. You also risk damaging the turbo or exhaust manifold from the extra back pressure so a delete is recommended
250 you're gonna need a turbo manifold kit, egr / dpf del - If from darkside they'll offer I think it's the 2260BK turbo or something like that. 250bhp on the new CR 2.0tdi engines will set you back around £6-7k. I know as I've just had my 2017 Audi TT done at darkside for 250bhp. Intake and a remap will see you about 215-220.
Juat a question did you go for the gtb charge pipe or standard one!? Also does the alloy ring come with air filter an then goes in air flow mass sensor
You’d have to check the engine code mate, let me know and I’ll find out for you, the engine code will be on a plate in the engine bay or in your door jam
www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/ramair-proram-induction-kit-for-vw-golf-mk7-platform-2-0-tdi-gtd.html This is the link to the kit I have. Just check that it is compatible with your engine code 👍🏻
@@lifeofwill8824 my Engine is remapped from 110 to 185hp, i can hear a bit of my Turbo spooling up so i expect maybe a bit More difference with a intake But this ramair set is expensive in germany have to build myself the intake itself costs about 50€ its okay when it Sounds Good 😂
It is expensive for sure… it’s a great kit though, literally everything you need just bolt on. Makes it so much easier 😂 The A3 is 150bhp from factory so I haven’t mapped it yet but I will 👌🏻
Not essential at all my man, just if you are planning on getting one it’s a lot easier to install it before hand since you’ll have to take all this back out to get at it if you do it after… having one increases airflow into the turbo so you get a slight power boost and potentially more noise 👌🏻
@@lifeofwill8824just ordered 1 cheer’s hopefully won’t be too hard to install it all I’m not good at these things but like a challenge and will be using your vids to help me 🤣
Hello, for some reason I have the same sound from the air housing, but my housing and the filter is factory one . Do you maybe know why is that and how to fix it
I checked it, but nothing. The next step I thought about is to remove turbo and try to clean turbo vanes. Do you think that could help? Also, when I remove the air filter and then step on the accelerator and release it, I get this sound from the intake. Very sharp sound
Hi Lukas, yes I have done a turbo muffler delete with this set up. I did this when I installed the hard charge pipe if you want to check that video out 🤙🏻
How are you finding the induction kit? I’ve fitted the same one to my 2.0 tdi Audi a3 fl and it sounds good but it lets off quite a few different noises do you get the same?
Hey man, I definitely have increased induction noise and a small “blow off” woosh kinda sound when I let off throttle (I don’t have a BOV installed, just for context) but that’s about it… what noises are you hearing??
@@lifeofwill8824 ahhh okay bro nice, same with mine but sometimes it sounds like there’s a knocking noise but the cone doesn’t seem to be hitting anything… does yours sound similar?
Hi will, Lookin at a 2014 mint looking white a3 2.0tdi. One thing i’d leave well alone is exhaust, me personally it would be my first diesel but keeping it stock exhaust wise almost keeps sleeper status whilst having around 200hp/300-350nm torque. Cant wait to get into it and see what these 2.0tdi’s are abouttttt!!
Nice one 👌🏻 last 4 cars I’ve had have been 2.0 tdi and I gotta say I love them haha good point about the exhaust I’ll have to think about that when it comes to it 🤔
Awesome! I’ve since ordered the darkside inlet and induction kit for my A3, so I’m looking forward to installing! These videos will definitely help a heap so thank you and keep it up 👍🏻

Quality video! Just fitted this to my mk7 golf GTD and changed the turbo inlet pipe! Looks and sounds amazing thanks guys!!

What is the size of the tubes connected to the sensor tube in both directions?
Is there a kit the same as this that will fit the Audi a3 1.8 tfsi (8p)
I’m sure there’s something out there, if you search by your engine code you should be safe enough 👌🏻
does the exact thing u did fit on my 1.6 a3 2011 ?
You’d have to check the engine code mate, let me know and I’ll find out for you, the engine code will be on a plate in the engine bay or in your door jam

www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/ramair-proram-induction-kit-for-vw-golf-mk7-platform-2-0-tdi-gtd.html
This is the link to the kit I have. Just check that it is compatible with your engine code 👍🏻
Will this work with an A3 8p
I don’t think so mate unfortunately, it’s not listed by Darkside as being compatible… I’d drop them an email and see what they suggest 👍🏻
Nice I like it looks well
Sounds good, you still got the DPF and EGR? planing to install this to my Golf MK6 also 2.0 TDI.
I do. Hard to get away with a DPF delete in Ireland 🙄 I do have a Darkside charge pipe though…

could you add a link to the air intake

Love it, i have A3 8PA and its look like it the same way how to install all that, am i wrong?
I’d say it’s fairly similar but I’d check whichever kit you are buying against your engine code just to make sure 👍🏻
will those kinda of mods pass NCT?
Just passed the NCT there yesterday 👌🏻

How Many hp does or habe nie After those mods ? Do you Know that by Andy Chance ?
I don’t know exactly because I haven’t had it dyno’d, but at a guess I would say somewhere between +10-15bhp

Why are some people calling this hot air intake?????
Because it is... Cold would be on the bottom of the car.
They do nothing for performance.
Turbo sucks in air as is regardless of what goes in front of it. Common sense.
Wider diameter hose would mean more / less restricted airflow??
