What impressed me the most is not your really good read and hero calls / bluffs (although some were impressive!!), but how you recovered from that boat over boat, and played, kept the course, stayed level headed and booked a win. Loved this vlog.
Its been 6 sessions or roughly 20 hours since i hit a set, then i played yesterday and in first hour got 10s 8s and 5s and flopped a set on them all. Lost the 10s to top set of Ks. Won only 50$ with the 8s and won about 140$ with the 5s all in all i lost about 200 with my 3 sets. The key is definitely winning them lol

If he got Kx, I don't even think he'll bet that big on the river after getting check raised on the turn. No 99, 55, 33 in his range cause he'll definitely be betting on flop, no KK cause he'll 3bet pre.

This hand which starts14:00 (88) and the explanation on 15:03 was epic. It takes appreciation cause I was 100% sure you were going to check the river. But you took me in your brain and went back in time to remember a previous hand with that player (who riveted you). Then you made a monster bet to over rep your hand, without exposing it for cheap. Those are top Texas Holdem secrets Brad Respect for sharing that and I will try to do it next time I can play with folks in real life.

I like watching how pros play nut hands. It's the reverse bluff I love. Acting strong is easier than acting weak Brad has good odds logic but his timing gives away a lot.
That exact flop happened in a boat over boat situation at the WSOP main event awhile back. Sammy Farha had A 10 & Oliver Hudson had pocket 10’s and this was the flop then too! Both checked after the flop( both thinking they were setting a trap of course), then a Q hits on the turn, all the $$ then goes in & Hudson is out on the first hand while Farha becomes the first one to get a full double up after the first hand!

Brad, just from a tactical standpoint, a quick question as I'm trying to improve my own game... The pocket aces hand at 8:08 is it not better to check back the river (as the opponent is showing weakness and thus is unlikely to call the river bet) and gain information about how the guy played/plays to help with future hands... or is it not worth losing the potential EV for the niche info and so obviously you wanna make the most EV possible and bet into the potential fold just in case he calls? Love the vids though and have been a long time subscriber. Thanks so much and keep on keeping on

You are not allowed to check back the nuts in poker. You can check the nuts when you are not last to act, but when you are, you MUST bet.
