That QK fold was world-class. You deserve this win, Ethan..
aye i’m at that point of the video and can’t get my head around that. easy when you see the cards on the screen but wow in person with all that pressure on you. fair fucking play. 👏🏼
yeah, that was the defining moment. although i have absolutely no idea how on earth can he fold that hand.
His 68 bluff catching was ghetto-class
Great video, great playing, congratulations!
Thanks man!
@@RampagePoker my aces lose to 45 offsuit my qq loses to 97 my pair of kings loses to 99 he gets trips top two pair on the flop loses 4 times to full house and better two pair on the river I'm down $7000 in two months. I don't even have a car and got $240 in my bank account. I'm a miserable guy

You were playing 1-2 like yesterday?! And now winning high roller tournaments? How amazing your poker journey has been Ethan. Much love and continue killing it!
I remember the 10k punt like it happened last week loool
He's in the CIA/Axis.... tip.... they're running a con....
And lately it become impossible to win online. I guess there are some blessed ppl or he is the NEO of Poker
Watching Ethan take these tournaments down proves that being a "professional" can only take you so far 😅 got to win them coin flips!
❤️❤️
I don’t know which one is better. The win or the vlog. As a casual poker player, the way you document and narrate it was amazing!!! The thought process, the fear, the excitement, thank you for sharing it with us.
Holy crap. That’s a lot of likes. I did it mom, i am famous now.
Honestly wp bro, you didn't have to pay anyone out but you did out of your own goodwill. Truly someone who cares about their community and supporters.
I don't get the haters on this one. Goodwill is a valuable asset and is worth a great deal of future income. A lot of companies screw up their goodwill for the short term profit and end up regretting it. (see Dungeons and Dragons for current example).
It was an inexpensive investment that will pay dividends as long as it is maintained.
More the fact that he straight up punted the first buy in….
@@nickstahhhh and the people that bought the action accepted the risk of however he played in that first buy
I’ve been a Ethan fan since Boston Billiards so I know how aggressive/punting Ethan can be. It sucks for the initial buyin investors if the win is only shared to the last buyin investors because Ethan is more inclined to punt more on the first buyins. I would personally like to stake his 2nd and 3rd bullets but never the first punting bullet. What I really believe is the win should be proportionally split to all bullets, in this instance first bullet investors get their returns based on half of your win, as all bullets contributed to your presence at the tourney.
@@jerryhan7533 I agree. This is why I could never stake someone in a rebuy tournament without "share dilution". That first bullet is a "cheaper bullet" so the player may be more reckless with that money vs if they put up all 100%. I'd only be interested in staking the player for the tournament, not individual buy-ins.
0:24 “Will I fumble the bag or continue my sun run only one way to know” literally the title is “ I WIN WPT high roller”
What a move giving everyone who bought action in the first bullet 2x their money back.. Ethan’s a good dude, deserves the w’s!
He's in the CIA/Axis.... tip.... they're running a con....
And all the pros got mad at him for that saying now everyone will expect them to give back the money if they win after re-buying
Oh he bought in twice? I was bummed i didnt buy 1k of his action lol
Given the investors back their action from the first buller is honorable and proper for a gentleman. Giving them profit on top pf that is above and beyond. THAT is generosity and largess in the spotlight. Much respect.
Can u explain?
what a run! stoked for you, all your success!
BAAANNNG 💥😂
just an amazing laydown with KQ, you are really thinking things through. Great play. congrats again Ethan!
He's in the CIA/Axis.... tip.... they're running a con....
Most of you would've called all the way right 😂
A great fold. 2nd in chips the person you really don\t want to tangle with is the only person that can bust you
Lets be real, he didnt put him on 9/10. That was a gut feeling fold. But you need those to win a tournament. As you saw, when it gets down to that, luck far out weighs the skill.
I don’t think it’s very gut feeling lol I mean Kevin reopened the action on the turn to leave spr at like 1? Just doesn’t ever seem like a bluff but props to Rampage it was definitely an epic fold
I watched this live as it was happening. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Congratulations! Well deserved and a class act for returning everyone's action after you busted your first bullet. I will continue to watch and root for you.
We’ve all been waiting on this video for what feels like months now lol. Thanks for releasing so close to Pt.1. Stoked for you Ethan!!! 🎉
This is amazing. From almost the bubble boy to the winner. What a freaking come back.
This is a long way from $1/$2 at the Wynn Boston! It's been a lot of fun watching your career from local kid to poker pro, huge congrats to you Ethan.
He's in the CIA/Axis.... tip.... they're running a con....
So awesome to see the progress. From 1-3 @ Boston Billiards to binking high stake tournaments. You are an inspiration to this man. Keep it up Ethan.
So pumped for you, your hard work is paying off!
He's in the CIA/Axis.... tip.... they're running a con....
@mattsullivan1944yeah the guy punts a lot but that’s the gambling aspect of poker. And when he is the first to go all in it puts alot of pressure on people so it’s not always completely punting. You gotta give this guy credit where it’s due it’s not easy to win a high roller tournament he has put in alot of work

14. You got tricked
15. I'm just wasting your time now keep watching rampage getting that money 😎💯
Well done, all those tournament buy'ins recouped! On a side note, where did they find this dealer? You can give him the benefit of the doubt on the first one but what about every single flop after that?!
VERY tilting
A “back door quad draw” is not a thing sir…. I don’t know how many hands I’ve played over 13 years online but it is millions and i’ve hit RR quads 2 times. Once was like 2 weeks ago
So sick. Love seeing you get better at not only poker but also the content and videos have definitely stepped it up from the napkin cards 😂 more rings to come 💰
I enjoy the napkin cards ! Keeping it real like the old days .
The napkins is a thing now.. they'll be around again.
A win for Rampage is a win for all who dream of making it big in this beautiful game. Congrats Ethan wish you all the best in 2023.
So glad to see my encore boston buddy climbing up this high! Thanks for all your great contents Ethan!
So proud to be from Boston even more city of champions 💯
@@viewmaster617 you already know :)
if you know someone is deliberately punting your money then playing a much more risk averse style with their own money once they've torched yours, would you ever back them again? Pretty sure any reasonable person would answer no to that question which begs the question of your motivation in doing so. I feel like refunding anyone who did buy action is pretty much mandatory in your situation since you're essentially using the fans to free roll yourself despite having a bankroll big enough to deal with the swings of 5 figure tournaments.
Dude. What a sick bink!! Congratulations Ethan! See you soon for some punts!!
sick
Mad props to the three people on the rail for you I can't believe it was only 3 but you know Andrew was going to be one of them Love The Godfather
Where was Brad?
Incredible stuff, way to go big man
Hell of a run Ethan. Especially over the last year or two. Best wishes for 2023.
The issue with your shove only strategy is it makes it easy to play perfectly against you for studied players like the ones you run into in these fields.
Great move to pay back the initial stakers! Well deserved :)
That KQ vs his 10 9 lay down why you won the tournament ❤
Congratulations Rampage! That was awesome!
Lol um how can he do a block bet on the turn if he’s last to act and you checked? ( @ 11:55 ) 😅 lol this guy. How do you have so much money?! 🙄
Congratulations dude. Super proud to be a viewer of yours, you've earned it
SALUTE RAMPAGE !! U FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS AND DO THE MATH !! NOT A PLAYER THAT SUBSCRIBES TO FUNDAMENTALS..CONGRATS!!
I watched this live, but enjoyed the vlog so much better. Love hearing your thoughts on certain spots. The QK fold was epic! I remember watching it live thinking that was the end and there was no way you were getting away from that hand.
"need to rely on my practice... winning all-ins" lmao
You’ve made crazy progress in your game and killing the poker world. Good for you bro
I think the dealer fucked up at 6:50.. did anybody catch that? He used the burn card for the turn..
Congratulations bro. I hope you realize how inspirational you've been to so many of us
I saw a number of harmful and unnecessary decisions. How many times throughout the tournament have you been weaker in allin and ended up winning? 5 or 6 times?
So he won 🎉😅
Your progression this last year was amazing. Very deserved tournament trophy plus your content is very fun to watch and entertaining. Good job. Greetings from Spain
Congrats bro!
Been waiting for this one Ethan!!
same
Thank you very much for Video 👍💪💰🏆
Your getting so good mentally, the commentary and your thought process now is so much more improved than 2-3 years ago man! Keep it up and keep the sun run hot
Are you that fuckin lucky.
Unbelievable
Love the scheduled content -- keep up the run good!
great plays but holy shit u are so fucking lucky
Damn kinda spoiled it with the pic! Congrats
Kevin's over-bets make him extremely annoying, but you sniffed him out during the day and had a feeling he was bluffing a lot. The ending hand of Kevin QJ vs you KJ was the perfect poker gods finale of a high stakes tournament. CONGRATS x894,000 Rampage.
That dealer was so bad at spreading the flop lol
that dealer sucked opening the flop
I for some reason was thinking you took another WPT down... after seeing the Q-K vs the 9-10 hand, I realized this is another video of the WPT you already took down. I should've know by your hoodie🤦🏻♂️😆. Anyways, props again Bro... it's always Good watching you seek success.
OMG Such an incredible Fold with the KQ at 13:24. I really really like that Fold there. Great Job. Do not like the call w/ bottom pair against the trip Queens. Or the All In with J8 suited. BUT>>> OMG, forget everything I said. From 7bb on the stone bubble to Winning the whole Tourney Outright. Congrats Brother. Very Proud and Happy for you.
Watching your videos are incredible! Such an opposite experience than watching 2 donks at the WSOP final taking 15 min on every decision! Congrats bro !
It’s fun to see someone who is not very good at poker win big tournaments. So many mistakes and so many blessed runouts lol GG bud
*Thanks for watching send a direct message right away on the above number for more enlightenment:••*✍️📩
*THE QUALITY OF YOUR VIDEO IS SO POOR, THAT SORRY BUT I MUST LEAVE,*
24:20 A VERY STRESSFUL WAY to force your way to heads up, going all in with J8 and your opponent has A9. Crazy balls. I thought it was a silly play.
I’ve never seen somebody run so well in poker. Not saying you aren’t skilled cause you are, but sheesh my guy you’re on fire these days 🔥 Much deserved 💯
Oh. You DID win a big tournament. Cool.
As much as I really enjoy your content, your vocal fry is something that needs to be addressed. Your narration would be 10 times more enjoyable if that could be eliminated. Just a little vocal coaching could help your production immensely. Keep up the good work!
Video is most definitely fun, good job on that. But using the same two songs the entire video makes it way worse.
I get that it's some kinda of advertising, but hearing the same bit so many times doesn't make it more apealing.
In my opinion a variety of bands would make this better.
Exceptional shooting on that last one, shows how insane long distance kills are😮
Rampage I see you punt and make bad calls a lot but man when you were playing for life changing money you made a great lay down with KQ against the made straight. I know you have to make content but if you play like this more you would be one of the top players. Regardless excellent job!
So you really didn't give the initial investor any money at all?!
That's when you and the investor know that your chances of winning are over 70 percent
Now invest 100k of those winnings in your retirement account. S&P 500 index!
This shows how luck plays important role in poker! All Ethan's all-in won, even being underdog many times
16:45
- That's not true. There doesn't exist a GTO spot in poker where you have more bluffs than value(on the river obv)
The reason for that is, no matter how big you bet the opponent will ALWAYS have better odds than 50% to call.
If you bet 1000000x pot, the opponent will get the odds 49,999999% on a call.
So if someone bluff 50% or more on the river, you call ALL your bluffcatchers.
Betting full potsize = 66,67% value and 33,33% bluffs
Betting 200% potsize = 60% value and 40% bluffs
hope you can find such folds (the kq o hand) now. it was a great analysis but seems like your losing touch with it now.
those dealers are so bad they don’t know how to flop and almost burned twice smh ..the hand when u had ace 6 of heartst
Right?.wtf was that
i’m not bugging right ..they struggling to put the flop out ..maybe the cards are too big
where can i get that hoodie?
Sometimes you gotta run like God...fun to watch. Good VO. Great job
I was wondering about what he would do regarding his investors since he busted out of the first bullet and bet on himself in his second bullet. Good on Ethan for paying them back.
4:30 Repping nut flush with a 25% bet? lol
I think you stumbled into repping a scared A
So cool.... The Jc 8c shove looks so bad when SB ends up with Ac 9c, but if you think about it. Hell show up there with K X and have to fold. Really like ur game E, and gratulations.
Of course the 4s came.
Where did they find the dealer? That guy was STRUGGLING
Ugh that 86 call was rough. I honestly feel like when people overbet the pot like that and "polarize" themselves it's actually weighted a lot more towards value. I know it's MEANT to be more weighted towards bluffs and/or looking like you're "trying to buy it" but because SO MANY people do this, it's actually become (imo) more of a value play.
I also don't really agree that 86 is a good bluff catcher there. Kx would be - Kx with no spade, no club would be a great one. But I think you've got too little invested in the hand and too marginal of a spot to make that call.
But hey, you have 1 million profit in poker last year and I have nothing so honestly wtf do I know.
Hero fold. Amazing. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥
Love the vids my chinese brother. Keep it going. Inspirational! One day when i grow up. I wana be just like u. DP
So I started watching your Vlog because you were fun, but reckless I thought. Then suddenly I started hearing about "Rampage" and I thought Hey that looks like the guy in the Vlog. His name is "Rampage"? Anyway, I started seeing you on tables with big poker heavies, and there YOU are with your pearly white teeth. So now here you are a winner!! I'm having a "I knew you when" moment. Cheering you on from Grand Prairie, Texas. I think I'd beat you at Pot Limit Omaha, by the way.
starting off 2023 right! 🎉
Not sure if you misspoke when talking about Taylor’s over bet with QJ against your 86, but over bet doesn’t mean you have more bluffs than value combos, your percentage of bluffs should equal your opponents pot odds if you’re talking about GTO, which means you should never have more bluff than value combos because in no scenario in Texas HOLDEM will your opponent will be getting better than 1-1 and I’m not one for correcting people but I want more people to play the game and don’t want some newb hearing that and going fucking bonkers playing like a lunatic and after inevitably getting destroyed doing that and end up quitting
DUDE!!!! So happy for you. Don’t usually comment but been watching you play and grow!!!! Huge congrats so glad to see you advancing!!! 🎉 big win!!!
Love the KQ fold. Think the J8 jam might be a bit ambitious, ICM isn’t as relevant 3 handed as say 6-9 handed, especially with the structure of the payjumps.
Congrats. IDK why you think folding is boring. Do you think Ivey or Dnegs worry about being "boring" when they make a soul read and a hero fold? It doesn't take much skill to play "no fold'em hold'em", just a very large bankroll.
Only mistake in analysis I think is around 27:30 mark. He says his 10 is pretty good against most other kickers. In actuality, your 10 is only good against a 7,8,9 kicker. You tie a 10, so about 2/3 of the deck (kicker wise) wins.
That being said it’s great analysis.
Wow 👏 what a wonderful ride "E"!!!
Just wish the title didn't give it away 😕
*well done Sir PS, you should put yourself in that "top-guy" in poker category 👍 😉
Yesterday i almost got heart attack holding AJx on Ax4x4x in a cash game . Shorty shoves pre 20 blinds i cry call cause i had feeling shorty could be quite strong i probably should fold to him but whatever. For my surprise one more player behind me called 60 BBs in a pot .On the flop overcalling player decided to bluff jam QJo for the pot size bet and his remaining stack i snapped and after i saw his hand i was almost sure im going to win but his 2 % somehow got there hitting two perfect cards for broadway . Seriously this hand drastically changed my pulse and i had to immedietely leave the table. The worst feeling in a world being such a favorite just waiting for the chips to go your way and still lose it. Im getting too old for this poker thing.
To anyone who thinks Ethan is good at poker, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
In this stage , i mean the bubble you need a lot of luck.. you were behind like 3-4 times and managed to win , the poker gods helped you a lot , well i assume it wasn't only luck , 107 high roller players 25 k buy in.. you had to play against the sharks.
Very nice content , congratulations .
Coin flip champion
@rampage,The refund is to kind.i would do the same because why not.
I’m so envious of your insane luck that never ends. It’s almost like you sold your soul to the devil 😂 it’s a cheat code or something. Wrong play after wrong play and just binks it. I’m a big fan, I’m just mind blown. Nice win bro!
LUUUUUUCKBOOOOOOOX I♥ it. Fav part of poker! Congrats Man. Please pretty please NEW luckbox merch!
he was just extremely lucky!!!! well you gotta be lucky playing poker but he jammed quite alot when statistically he would lose.... whoever plays poker dont follow his playing style ..... 🐸🐸
Horrible play just very lucky - only hand you got your money in the middle while actually being ahead was KJ vs QJ lol. You would get crushed at most 25k+ buyin tourneys.
Hahaha..."I've got a backdoor quad draw" .... "it's in my check raise range"... You're hilarious.... Please don't tell me you actually believe your own narrative
I just lost my 28k in a slot machine. I would find Vegas Matt at Casino, roll him the parking lot for 33k. Call my wife and tell her I just won 5 grand and let's go get a nice dinner and buy her some lingerie and then go to bone Town. Sorry for the inconvenience Vegas Matt. Get well soon
Side note: I do have a problem with players who sell action, but it's only applicable for the first bullet. If someone is staking you to play in a tourney and it takes you multiple bullets, they should get a percentage of all your action, even if it is a decreased percentage due to a second bullet. If they have 10% of you at $25k, then they should get 5% of you at $50k. At a minimum, you should offer them a second chance to stake you on the second bullet. My two cents.
Amazing Ethan!! So proud to be a follower and seeing your journey!!! Congrats!!!
