Halo Exploit

Demonstration of a vulnerability I discovered in all Halo versions. Anyone has the ability to change anyones team client side or talk as any player. You can only talk as other players in 1.04 or before. The team switch is exploitable in all versions. I made a Direct3D menu for ease and use a dev command to switch players teams.

Well, this was just a client-sided exploit. Server side, you can pretty much do anything you want. I could probably hook you up, but I'm busy with Halo 2 Vista for a bit.

this looks really tough to pull off... i know theres devmode involved but the rest is beyond me. can you show me what programs used?

umm... i have no idea how to script. :P
does it invovle using D3D and C++? if so, i have yet to learn to use those programs.

Then there is no hope for you. You know how to find floats? Just find them and script like you've never scripted before.

This no longer works for 1.08, since I sent in the exploit to Bungie when they were patching.
